Private Home- Lake Access-Hot Tub- Sebring Raceway

Feel right at home is this charming country home on the water. Plenty of space to spread out on the front lawn or in the fenced in back yard. Our front patio is screened in and you can comfortably sit out and wait for any guests to arrive. Our back patio is screened in and has a table and chairs to dine alfresco. There is also a fabulous hot tub on the patio to relax in after a long day on the lake. The inside of the home keeps it casual with an open kitchen, dining and living room. Our kitchen has been recently installed with beautiful stainless appliances and granite counters. We have all the dishes, pots and utensils needed for a long or short term stay. Pull up one of the stools to eat your breakfast or sip your morning coffee. Just off the kitchen, in the garage, is the full size washer and dryer. We have 2 spacious bedrooms, each with very comfortable queen size beds and dressers for all your belongings. There is a desk in the guest bedroom for those guests that choose to work from home. The bathroom is bright and clean and recently renovated with beautiful quartz counters, white shaker vanity and white tile in the new tub/shower area. Plenty of towels for your shower and to take on the boat. You will find games, cards and books to occupy your time. Our smart TV can stream your favorite shows. Our back yard has a great fire pit and BBQ. We offer free WiFi. Perhaps you would like to rent a pontoon or Jet ski from one of the local vendors. We offer a discount code to rent from them. From this canal you can access Lake Carrie, Lake June and Lake Henry. Head over to the Sebring Raceway to catch some great races. Interested in a cocktail or a fabulous wine, check out the local distilleries and wineries. Shop at the farmers market or just pick up freshly picked oranges at a roadside stand. Something for everyone.
Home has WiFi to connect and work from or stream movies from your lap top or our Smart TV. Dogs allowed for $150 fee (each)

This home was exactly as described. The homeowners and cleaners definitely pay attention to details. Marnie was one of the best host we have encountered in our bookings through vrbo. I have a fragrance allergy and she went out and purchased products fot the housekeeper to use prior to our stay and left them for our use. She is very quick to respond to anthing you might need . We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend if you are ever in the area to contact Marnie to book your stay with her.

Long Weekend Getaway

Perfect home base for a weekend away. Only wish we could have stayed an extra day to possibly do some kayaking. Marni was incredibly responsive and supportive and we had a lovely stay. Highly recommend.

Absolutely best trip so far

My dad, the dog, and I stayed here during hurricane Milton. The renters were very attentive of any needs we might have for the storm. The house is equipped with a generaic generator that kicked on as soon as power went out. It also has a nice hot tub, nice dock on a creek. I will be staying here again, hopefully under better circumstances. I can’t thank her enough for providing such a nice residence during such a trying time.

Home away from home

Home away from home says it all!! We went to a boat race in Lake Placid, Florida, and decided to use Vrbo instead of a hotel and we’re so glad we did!! It was amazing and pet friendly!! We appreciated the privacy and fenced in yard for our toy poodle. The home was open and spacious and immaculately Clean! The host paid such great attention to all the little extras Including snacks, water in the fridge, coffee pods, doggie poop bags, and in the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, plus much more etc… The jacuzzi was so relaxing, especially after a strenuous day! The host was very pleasant and stayed in touch with us and was easy to contact for help!! We were very pleased and will stay again if we are in the area next year! So much better than a hotel!!

Nice place to stay

Very clean, great communication. I didn't run into any issues with the property during my stay. Very nice welcome basket with snacks that my kids loved. Relaxing location away from any noise.

NICE AND QUIET

Perfect ,quiet getaway . Spent three weeks at Marni's place and she could not have been a better host. House was very clean and any questions we had were answered very quickly. I brought my boat and went fishing several days with so many lakes to choose from 15 minutes away I couldn't begin to try all of them. If we come back to Lake Placid we would be back at Marni's place.

Wonderful home

Wonderful home. Owners left "welcome" package of snacks and some personal hygiene in case it was forgotten. Best welcome package we've seen so far! Owner was easy to contact and very nice! Overall I would give a rating of 5+ stars

The best stay in Lake Placid!

This is our second stay at Marni’s place and I truly cannot say enough good things about it or about her as a host. She’s kind, helpful, and accommodating - the nicest host I’ve encountered. The property is always spotless and well stocked and is tucked away in such a lovely spot. I highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed.

House and location are great!

The house is super cute and spotless. The hot tub is a nice bonus, and the canal is a great feature. Marni is the best host we’ve ever had. She shared information about local events during our stay, had lots of extra goodies for us, and went above and beyond getting an issue with internet service resolved quickly. We highly recommend staying here!
