The master features a queen bed and french doors out to the patio, as well as a private ensuite bathroom. Brew a fresh coffee in the plunger and enjoy it on the patio, listening to the morning birdsong.

Lake Hawea has many trails for biking and walking, and being on the eastern outskirts of town, Lake Hawea Hideaway is in the ideal spot to hop on your bike at home and hit the trails right away. Take the Hawea River Trail all the way to Albertown, where a patisserie awaits with a flat white and warm croissant.

A five-minute walk from home will have you admiring the sparkling deep blue waters of the lake. And if you fancy getting out there, feel free to bring your boat. There’s plenty of room to park it on the quiet cul-de-sac outside the house.
