Welcome home!

Are you looking for a place that feels like home to spend time with family or friends to just relax or a place to regroup in between visiting local attractions? Why not stay here…..

The property is located 20 minutes north of Lake George and is located within walking distance to Tripp Lake where you can enjoy the beach and maybe go for an afternoon swim or use the clay tennis courts. If you would prefer to golf, Green Mansions Gold Club is only a 5 minute drive from the townhouse. You can find something to do in any direction you go in from the centralized location.

The townhouse consists of 3 bedrooms , 2.5 bathrooms , full kitchen and plenty of room to relax between the open floor layout and the screened in porch. Whether you choose to cook inside or outside on the BBQ, your group will be sure to enjoy.

When your stay has ended and you look back on the time spent here, you’ll find yourself smiling. After all, whatever happens at the lake is laughed at all year!

We had a great long weekend! Very comfortable and welcoming. The host was welcoming, helpful and available. The location worked out well for us, 20 minutes to Gore Mountain for skiing and 20 minutes to Lake George for other fun. We would like to return the next time we plan a trip to ski at Gore!

This is a beautiful, cozy gem in the Adirondacks! The property was just as good as it was described and showed in pictures. It was extremely clean and decorated so nicely. If I could give this more stars, I would. Kate was amazing to deal with and very prompt in responding. Our family HIGHLY recommends this sweet place!

Beautiful home and decorated for the season. House was spot less and notes letting you know if there were issues what to do and who to call. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and by far this was the best. You felt like you were home and only a few miles from shops and adventures.

What a wonderful townhouse! Everything was perfect! Loved how fully stocked this house was even with fans to put in the bedrooms, and board games to play! Definitely will be back with my family! The house is also furnished nicely and decorated beautifully! Kathleen did an amazing job! She was also so easy to talk to and get a hold of and so accommodating !

Home away from home

Amazing place, homey, spotlessly clean. Quiet getaway. Lovely property owner who makes sure her guests are comfortable. Easy access to all the fun activities nearby, without the crowd. A true hidden gem. So happy we found this place!

Winter get away!

We had a great time. The house was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. I loved all the holiday lights Kathleen had. It gave the house a warm cozy feeling. It was convenient to Gore which was our main reason for being there. We can’t wait to go back.

Home in the woods

My husband, in-laws and I stayed for the 2024 Hot Air Balloon Festival in Queensbury about 1/2 hour away. I searched online for a cozy, comfortable place for the 6 of us to stay and we couldn’t have been any happier with our choice. Kate has the most beautifully decorated home right down to lights. I’m told the decorations change for the season and I do not doubt that every change is something to see. The house is set just perfectly in the woods and the way the windows look out to the back yard, you could imagine during a snow fall the scene would be picturesque. The house is equipped with every kitchen appliance and utensil you could need. There are also board games to play with family & friends. The beds are comfortable and showers are hot with good pressure. We did not need anything during our stay, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Kate would have been extremely responsive had we needed anything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at Kates home again!

Great Place for a Getaway in the Adirondacks

The condo was perfect! One of the best and well-stocked condos I've ever seen. We needed some downtime from a hectic summer travel schedule and found it. Loved the fireplace and the cozy atmosphere nestled in the woods. Cellular was sketchy, but the wi-Fi signal was great and we had no problems at all.using our mobile phones.

Best Place Ever

Kathleen's home was the best place we have ever stayed in on our vacations in the Saratoga/Lake George area. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. She is the ultimate host, including going out of her way to suggest fun activities for us to do. What a wonderful person! We would love to stay there again as she made everything a total pleasure!

Magnificent!!!

We’ve been staying at VRBO properties for 20 years & Kathleen has been our favorite host of all. She rescued our vacation (canceled by Debby) with 24 hours notice. Our stay was wonderful. The house was immaculately clean & beautifully decorated with endless lovely personal touches. Bears & moose & wolves, oh my! The cabin décor made us feel right at home. It was cozy, welcoming, & comfortable in every way. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted; beds wonderful; bathrooms had great layouts, amenities, H2O pressure/temp; W/D conveniently located; living room beautiful & comfy with a view, great TV for Olympics, & games; great wifi; screened porch with peaceful sights & sounds of nature was adored by all. The neighborhood is quiet. Tripp Lake Beach was a highlight with kayaks, chairs, umbrellas, pool toys, docks, great swimming, & terrific views. We found it very relaxing. The property is in an excellent location – you can get to the grocery & restaurants in 10 minutes, & many exciting towns, hikes, & activities are within 1.5 hours. We enjoyed Whiteface, Prospect, ziplining, ww rafting, disc golf, hiking, swimming, kayaking, games, book shops, restaurants, ADK Museum, & hanging out at home base. Throughout the process, Kathleen was incredibly kind, thoughtful, & attentive. Read her host comments in the listing & take in the “words of wisdom” décor around her house & you’ll get a sense of her warmth. We enjoyed ourselves immensely & would definitely love to return. Thanks Kathleen!

Perfect!!!!

Your home is wonderful.I felt instantly comfortable from the moment we walked in. I sat out on the porch, read my book and dozed here and there. So relaxing. The theme of the decor fit perfectly. Now, to me, one of the most important things...your home is immaculate. Every inch. The bathrooms looked as though no one had every used them. Your attention to detail was amazing. I never felt uncomfortable using any of your plates, utensils and appliances. My only suggestion for the kitchen would be to add some brighter lighting and a standard (12 cup) coffee pot.We hope that once we decide on a date for next year, you will be able to accommodate us. Thank you so much.

Great Stay

We had a two night stay at this property. Kathleen was a wonderful communicator. From just before arrival to the informational cues around the house, everything flowed wonderfully like the stream just outside the house. She made this experience stress free so we could enjoy our stay. She even had a gift waiting for us when we arrived. These small gestures and attention to detail set this property apart from others. Amazing stay

This house is so cozy and comfortable. The host was very easy to work with and the hospitality was 110%. This area is great for short pretty hikes and near Lake George. We enjoyed our short stay and would you love to return in the summer or fall.

Time with Family

We were in Chestertown for the memorial service of a close family member. Kathleen’s home was a warm, homey and comfortable place for us to stay and gather together during a very difficult time. We really appreciated how responsive and kind Kathleen was during our stay. We would love to be able to come back and stay during a happier and maybe warmer time and make some lovely memories together.

Home Away From Home

Our time at this property was fantastic!! It couldn’t have been better. Our host, Kathleen went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Her place felt like we were truly coming home each night! My friends and I had a wonderful, relaxing time unwinding in front of the fireplace, catching up with one another. I have never enjoyed a stay somewhere as much as I enjoyed this and I would go back in a heartbeat! Kathleen went above and beyond to make our stay an unforgettable one. I can’t thank her enough! This was my first Vrbo experience and I couldn’t have asked for any better!
