Bunkhouse Farm Stay

Bring the kids, visit the beautiful Florida Springs, and enjoy staying in a peaceful, cozy farm bunkhouse. Have a rest on the front porch rocking chairs or enjoy connecting with farm way of life while relaxing in the barn themed living room. This renovated goat barn boasts of exposed beams, tin ceilings and chic farm decor. While staying with us you can enjoy visiting with the animals, even book a farm experience. This is a visit around the farm being introduced to some of the farm animals and maybe gather a few fresh eggs! We are located at a very central area to many parks and springs. We’re also located about 40 minutes from the University of Florida, so come for a game, but stay out of the hustle and bustle of Gainesville. We are located approximately 10 minutes off Interstate 75 and less than 10 minutes from the All-Tech Racetrack so if you are just passing through we are a good 2 night option for weary travelers or a race fan who wants a little distance from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. Couples needing a weekend getaway have enjoyed the comfy cabin feel and the local “rural Florida” exploration.

Heading up to Ft. White to enjoy the springs in the area for my daughter’s birthday weekend. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left every second at the Bunk House was wonderful! Super quiet, super clean, super comfortable!! Everything you need is there and the decor is farmhouse country and very welcoming and cozy. Out in the country and away from crowds…just what we needed!! A truly lovely spot and I highly recommend it if you are looking for peace & quiet in a beautiful area of north Florida! Nearby Ichnetucknee Springs was absolutely beautiful…we kayaked there and felt like an amazing slice of heaven! We enjoyed the birds and the local kitties that visited us outside before we left! Thank you to the hosts for providing a truly special place for us to spend the weekend celebrating my daughter’s birthday!!

We loved our time spent here, the house was clean and the farm was beautiful. The owner came and welcomed us the morning after we arrived and brought us fresh eggs for breakfast. The house is stocked with anything you need and is 20ish minutes from the springs.

Stayed for a long weekend with my son for the NHRA in Gainesville. We’re FL locals but this was a great change of pace from the city. Not far from I75 to get you to and from places but far enough away at the same time. The Bunk House is by itself away from the main houses on the property so it was very private. It’s an old converted place but upon entering, you get the whole vibe in a VERY clean and well decorated quaint place. Smells nice, and the character was charming. Don’t hesitate to book this. Very reasonable too.

Peaceful and beautiful. My daughter and I loved our stay here. We wish we had more time there as we were gone almost all day with softball. If we com back to the area we will definitely stay again.

What a wonderful place on every level! Every single thing you could have possibly needed plus more! We were refuges from Hurricane Milton so had to evacuate and they were kind, helpful and allowed a couple extra nights. The farm is gorgeous! The house was great, clean and comfy! Thank you!

We are 3 lifelong friends who like to relax and spend time together away, doing as little as possible, or as much as possible depending on the time of year. This property gave us the perfect place to call home for 3 nights of doing almost nothing. Very clean, comfortable beds, cozy linens, a well appointed kitchen, and lot and lots of quiet. Our host was easy to communicate with when we needed her, otherwise she left us to enjoy the solitude. We plan to be back again. If we could give more stars, we would.

The Bunkhouse is absolutely wonderful to stay in. This was our fourth visit here, we love it! It's so clean and they provide everything that you can imagine for your cooking needs. It's also very quiet there and quite peaceful. We look forward to our next stay there!

If I can give 100 stars I will do it! We are in love with the bunkhouse farm, beautiful farm, the horses are close to the house is an amazing view all day, we’re animals lovers so we were in heaven, the little cat wait for us at the door every morning (because we feed her) The house is extremely clean, with enough towels and everything you can think of you will need it’s there! The beds Super comfortable with tv’s, internet, etc. but the best was the owners, they’re genuine sweet, attentive and good people, they give us fresh eggs from the farm and melons, we have an incredible time here… I will miss take my morning coffee looking at the horses and the peace there… I recommend this place but only if you are a good person :)
