I was very disappointed with my experience.
After traveling for over 24 hours, I arrived at the hotel only to be told that Expedia had taken my money but there was no reservation on the hotel’s system. The hotel stated that this was not their fault and that they have no association with Expedia, and simply told me to contact Expedia instead. While I understand third-party booking issues can happen, as a business I believe the hotel should do everything in their power to remove their property from Expedia if this keeps happening, rather than saying it has happened before and offering no real assistance.
Because it was Detty December, everything was sold out, leaving me with no place to stay. This made an already exhausting trip extremely stressful. A friend of mine stayed in the room. From what I saw, the room is quite small but nicely kept.
However, another downside is the location. The hotel is on a side street with a lot of night workers walking around, which made me uncomfortable. Because of this, I even cancelled another reservation I had at this hotel, as I did not feel comfortable returning there every night.
Overall, while the room itself looked nice, the lack of support during a serious booking issue and the surrounding area left me with a very negative experience.
