"Great property! Well organized and equipped with everything you need (aside from a dishwasher). Just a short drive to Lunenburg. We loved kayaking right from the dock. The inlet is very calm and the kids loved exploring the islands and waterways. "

"This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. "This property exceeded our expectations, offering a completely private setting, spotless cleanliness, and a warm welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. Upon arrival, we found everything ready, including the fireplace and hot pool stacked with wood and ready to light, and i'll add, the wood-fired hot pool was a novel experience and a definite highlight.The property's natural setting, with Pennys Brook flowing beside the deck,...

"Once a year my lovelies and I rent a VRBO….this home hosted by Elise was remarkable in every way possible…I highly recommend this home…it was everything and more…Elise was a pleasure to deal with…we even had a few laughs ….we will definitely be back ….no complaints "

"A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!"

"Had a lovely stay. Hot tub and sauna were a welcome relief on a couple of cold, snowy days. The view of the ocean through the snow was nice. The stairs are a little steep but manageable. Everything you need is there. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you."
