Nestled above a retail space in the quaint La Jolla Shores neighborhood, this upstairs unit is a two minute walk from San Diego's most beautiful and family friendly beaches, La Jolla Shores.

The unit is upstairs from Hike Bike Kayak Adventures, who generously includes free equipment rentals for guests of this unit including kayaks, boogie boards, snorkels, foam surf boards, paddle boards and wetsuits. They also include 25% off guided tours for guests of this unit.

The unit is a one bed, one bath with queen size blow up matress. Perfect for a couple or young family.

La Jolla Shores is a mile long pristine beach and the neighborhood is much quieter, easier to park, and more relaxing than La Jolla Village. However, La Jolla Village and La Jolla Cove are still a five minute car ride, fifteen minute bike ride (for adults), or twenty minute walk. While La Jolla Shores has such famous restaurants as Piatti's, Osteria Romantica, and the five-star Marine Room, the shopping, restaurants, bars, and art galleries are still very accessible from this location.

From La Jolla Shores, depending on the season, you can relax on the beach in the sun, kayak the La Jolla Sea Caves, snorkel with the famous (and completely harmless) leopard sharks, kayak with gray whales, surf gentle waves, boogie board around the beautiful coast. All with equipment or instruction from Hike Bike Kayak Adventures.

We absolutely loved our stay while visiting our freshman at UCSD! We made use of wetsuits and surfboards to have family fun as well as appreciated the discount on a kayak tour. The location is so perfect- steps away from the beach and breakfast/coffee shop next door. We also lived the Cheese shop for sandwiches. There is a fun and festive evening atmosphere to walk around. We will be back!

This was such a great vacation rental! It was quiet, clean and cozy and was so helpful to have a kitchen to make a few meals, walking distance to the beach and restaurants and shops and it was such an added bonus to have free rentals of anything we might need/want to do at the beach! We went kayaking and got boogie boards and beach chairs from the shop. All the people working there were so kind and helpful! We would totally stay here again! Thanks for having beach towels and even a cooler!!

Loved staying in La Jolla Shores! Sharon was a gracious host and we loved doing a kayak tour through her shop. Wish we'd had time to take advantage of the other water toys available; the weather was perfect during our stay!

We enjoyed this place, location is fantastic, it's nicely decorated and looked after. The issue we had is not noticing in the listing that it has a queen bed and an air mattress to accommodate 4 people. The air mattress provided deflated overnight, but luckily our kids weren't too fussy. Worked for a long weekend but would have been a tough setup had we stayed longer.

Property was beautiful and convenient for the location. Check in was fairly easy. Parking was manageable, however expect it to be limited. Overall great experience and residence.

Sharon's condo is a cozy little spot with some great food joints nearby and walking distance to the beach. Nothing fancy, but we loved getting up, grabbing a coffee, and taking a nice stroll on the beach. We took advantage of the tour discounts which I would highly recommend. We even went out snorkeling afterwards and saw some leopard sharks!

Loved this little property!

When we booked we were unaware the apt is upstairs, but it was one set which wasn’t awful. Both in our 60s with knee issues we would preferred a ground level property. But the apt was beautiful, comfortably furnished with a very luxe bed. Room air conditioners kept us comfy & cool. The property includes free use of kayaks and other beach equipment, which adds value, especially for families. Close to a very, very busy stretch of beach and great walking area for shops, food, etc, we loved this location!

Second stay here, excellent as before!

You just can't beat the location! And all the FREE rentals, my husband enjoyed paddle surfing every morning. Great coffee next-door and so much good food all around. The home is comfortable and has what you need. I appreciated the space in the drawers and the hanging space in the closet. I found shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

Great location in La Jolla Shores

We really loved this property. Perfect location just a short walk to the beach. Next door to a great coffee shop. Great space in the rental and we had plenty of room to spread out. We made use of the free kayak rentals and had two great trips during our week stay. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Memorable LaJolla

This 2nd floor apartment is quaint, centrally located and a short walk to the beach. We ate right across the street at the Sandpiper and cooked meals. Perfect coffee each day was just next door. Next time we will take them up on their free kayak offer. Not sure ibetter.
