"We used Boca as a base to explore. The place is small but comfortable beds, full kitchen in our unit and a full shared kitchen across the hall. Air conditioning is quiet and powerful. Power outlets by every bed. Erica the manager is very friendly and helpful. The daily rate is unbeatable. A good supermarket around the corner. We stayed 4 nights. Consider take the bus and do the bat cave."

"Apartment Casa La Parc is operated by Mrs Magaly and her family, while we stayed there, they were nothing but the most welcoming people with Mrs. Magaly treating us like our own mother for the week, i couldnt think of a better place to stay with large rooms, great views and the most amazing service"

"Nice designed cabin. If you want to cook, the kitchen is a bit sparsely equipped. The cabin is close to the main road (not distracting), making it easy to grab a taxi. There's a nice bar/restaurant within walking distance. "

"Perfect for me, room was clean and was comfortable, staff are amazing. There is some construction ongoing but not a bother unless you want to sleep all day. Owner very helpful. Will stay again "

"Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. "We appreciated the spacioucesness of the property. There were some drawbacks already mentioned in other reviews, but overall the stay was perfect."

"Writing this review to quiet some of the concerns of the previous reviewer… this rental was amazing! First, the views cannot be beat and the outdoor deck living space is just wonderful. It is the highest location in this particular spot of Basti, with amazing views and a breeze. It’s basically a very unique tropical jungle treehouse high above the town. "A perfect combination of private accommodations with access to a personal captain to travel to some of the amazing places the area has to offer. Plenty of wildlife including: Dolphins, starfish, sloths, monkeys, geckos, many types of fish and birds. Access to the kayaks and paddleboards was great too. Amazing how calm the water was a certain times of the day. "

"Old Bank is a community of contrasts. The Jamaican heritage was great, people generally friendly, and genuine. The downside was the massive piles of garbage strewn along the walkways and ocean. There were also warnings about safety and thieves on the beaches. Firefly restaurant is a must go for great food and service. It is more expensive, but worth it.
