Secluded Log Cabin for Two in La Grange TX

Welcome to our charming 1 bedroom log cabin. Conveniently located a short drive south of La Grange this is a great location from which to enjoy Round Top, Festival Hill, the Round Top/Warrenton antique show, the Painted Churches,La Grange's courthouse and square, the Texas Quilt Museum, Czech Heritage Center, Monument Hill, and the Bugle Boy.

The cabin sleeps 2 in a queen size bed. A twin air mattresses is available for an additional guest. Satellite TV and WIFI are provided.

The kitchen includes a Kuerig coffee maker (coffee included), small full size refrigerator, 2-burner cook top, microwave, and toaster oven. The bath room has a shower. Outside there is a gas grill and picnic table outside.

Pets are allowed but must not be left alone in the cabin. We are pet friendly

No smoking inside cabin.

Mike, our host, was fantastic—very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The cabin is charming, makes for a great escape, and is perfectly situated between La Grange, Weimar, Schulemburg, and other nearby towns. Deer and even a longhorn sauntered through the gorgeous property. Stargazing was incredible and surreal. We will not hesitate to return.

Absolutely beautiful! The host's were amazing and kind. The cabin was gorgeous and had the cutest antiques and cozy touches throughout. Luxurious and relaxing with amazing views of the sunrise! Cant wait to stay again!

This was an amazing property and cabin for two. If you want to unwind, disconnect from everyday life with zero light pollution this is your place to stay. Mike and Max were top notch - from meeting us in the driveway (which it was well after dark when we arrived) to checking in on us throughout our stay, this property was nothing short of outstanding. And I cannot go without mentioning the number of deer that roam the property on the daily. The cabin itself was everything that two people need, from a well-furnished kitchen, to some local culture displayed on the walls, it was exactly what we needed. Southern hospitality at its finest!

Perfect place to recharge

My children went on a trip with their mother and I wanted a quick getaway to ride my bicycle in the area (Bastrop to Smithville) and get some hills in my ride. It was perfect spot to be based from and convenient to local sites as well. M&M (Mike & Maxine) were great hosts. Very clean and historical Cabin. The inside is very modern. And the a/c is extremely cooling. Especially in hot Texas summer and a day of riding. Was able to take a nap and wake up to deer outside the porch. I imagine It’s perfect for solo and couples traveling.

Stay in Cabin

Just what was needed. This place is awesome for our trip to Smithville , Fayetteville , Carmine and Paige lots of antique hunting . The host Mike greeted us on the 1st day showed us everyone. This had all the amenities you need soaps , shampoo , botteled water and my wife loved the luxurious towels. Your morning coffee on the porch you had the company of deer , turkey , squirrels visiting the feeder set up close by . Definitely would be a place to go back too.

Fantastic place - clean, scenic, beautiful!

This little cabin, though somewhat remote, had everything we look for in a place away from home - clean, scenic and well appointed (lots of real antiques.) The owner was the consummate host.

Absolutely fantastic !!

Even growing up in a rural gorgeous community, the experience of LaGrange will stay in my heart. Would love to live there or in the area.. Mike was so kind as well as a joy to talk with. Loved going about his property and then our forays in town at antique shops as well as the museum. Hiking/walking trails. Well honestly..was all memorable indeed.

Amazing ⭐️

Traveled from Houston for a weekend getaway and it was exactly what we needed. Far enough from the city yet close enough to any needs. We stopped in La Grange for groceries before getting to the cabin so we didn’t have to leave during our stay. The cabin has a small kitchenette that has everything you need for cooking (even an outside grill). The place was clean, cozy and quiet. We got to see the deer which was a great view. Mike was very nice and available if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend 👍

So glad we found this little cabin!

Beautiful area! Wonderful hosts! Cute and comfortable cabin! Would definitely go back. Our first trip to Round Top Antique events and this was a very convenient place to stay. Just picked it online from the pictures and reviews and so glad we did.

Peaceful and relaxing

Loved the cabin. So unique. Mike was very helpful in loading and unloading my car. He went over how everything in the cabin worked which was very helpful during our stay. Sitting on the porch and watching the deer was wonderful. First time in the country for my pug and he loved it! He's still recooperating. Would highly recommend this property.
