I wish I hadn’t stayed here. There was a lot of negativity in the messages leading up to check-in—nonstop threatening rhetoric about being penalized or charged if more people arrive than what you initially listed. That message was sent out at least three different times.Once inside the house, the threatening tone continues—there are signs mounted throughout saying things like, “Don’t open this closet door or you will be charged,” and “Don’t touch anything in the garage or you’ll be charged.” It’s just very negative and upsetting, especially when you’re trying to relax on vacation.To make matters worse, we were charged a 50 entry fee that we were not informed about ahead of time. When I messaged management, their response was simply, “It’s in the agreement.” Maybe consider putting that fee somewhere more visible, rather than hiding it in the fine print.The house itself is nice, but the air conditioning is terrible. The bottom floor gets very cold, while the main floor (where the thermostat is located) stays warm. You end up having to sleep in a hot bedroom just to keep people downstairs from freezing. Overall, it’s not a relaxing atmosphere.
