"We had a wonderful 3 nights stay. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely setting at the restaurant to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Our room was large with a lovely bathroom. It was quiet and cool so barely needed to use the AC. But what made it such a wonderful place to stay were the amazing staff, who were so friendly and helpful they truly made our stay very special. "We loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!"

"O apartamento era incrível. Tinha frigobar, microondas, cafeteira, talheres, pratos, copos.... Tínhamos um licor delicioso a disposição no quarto. A decoração do apartamento era de muito bom gosto. O único inconveniente foi a piscina que não estava apropriada para aproveitar, mas o jardim ao redor compensava. Muito lindo!!! O café da manhã estava delicioso, especialmente omelete que era aerado!!!!"

"Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift.
