"I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here! "

"The car park was a secure gated area for hotel patrons only which I found to be a massive plus for York. As car parks in York, in my opinion, all seem to be hidden away and often some distance away from most of the accommodations as well as being quite expensive for overnight stays. The receptionists were cheerful, friendly and helpful, which after a two and a half hour drive was a very welcome sight. "Lovely, helpful people! The beds were so comfortable with amazing soft sheets. Breakfast was very hearty that one didnt ned lunch. It is above a pub but you couldnt hear the noise below. Karaoke night was so much fun. Very close to everything without being in the center. 10min walk to the train station. 2 min to york minister, the wall and hop on hop off buses. Highly recommend!"
