Delightful House

We had a great time in a lovely, well-equipped and spotlessly clean house. In spite of the extreme heat for most of our fortnight, the house managed to keep relatively cool and the swimming pool was an absolute joy.The town was at least a twenty minute walk away which in the intense heat proved too much for us! However we loved L’Isle sur La Sorgue and the beautiful surrounding hill villages. A special thank you to Corinne and her son.

Amazing home away from home!

Corrine's house on the outskirts of L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue could not have been a better choice for us. We spent nearly 5 wks and while there periodically hosted some of our children/spouses and 2 of our grandchildren (ages 5 and 7). We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay, loved the pool, and cooked many meals in the lovely kitchen. There is nothing like the ability to take advantage of the delicious fruits, vegetables, olives, charcuterie, I could go on and on! Corrine was so sweet, sharing some of her family's delicious garden produce each week when she checked in to take care of the pool. We have visited Provence many times, going back to when our oldest daughter was 5 yrs old, and now HER daughter was there! We loved being able to walk the 15 minutes to the centre ville, and it was great being able to avoid driving into town on busy market days. Sadly, the little Boulangerie at the end of the path (chemin) is permanently closed, but maybe someone will re-open in the future? We would come back to this lovely place without hesitation, and hope to do so! Thank you for everything Corrine and Jean-Baptiste (her son who helped with translation)!

Super schön!

Alles war prima. Wir genossen den Pool, den Garten und die Terrasse sehr. Die Ausstattung auch in der Küche war super. Eine kleine Kommunikationspanne zu Beginn (wir hatten nur 8 Betten bei 9 Leuten) konnte Corinne sofort lösen, da das separate Studio ( für 2 Personen) zur Verfügung stellte. Einziges Manko: ein klimagerät im OG steht im Flur, nicht in den Schlafräumen. Sonst alles bestens, gerne wieder.

Fantastic stay

Wonderful, fully equipped property in a gorgeous area. 20ish min walk into town along the river and a handy bakery just down the road. As we arrived by train Corrine and her daughter went out of their way and picked us up from the station! Only comment we'd make would be better aircon throughout the property, apart from that, faultless!

Accurate description of the house. Lies just outside the town, 2 minutes walk to Boulangerie. Good location if you want to drive around in Provence and the French Riviera.

Wonderfully comfortable, welcoming and well-located property

We really enjoyed our stay and Corinne was the perfect host - perfect mix of welcoming, helpful and unobstrusive. The house was extremely comfortable, well-equipped, beautifully looked after and spacious. About a 20-minute gentle shady stroll along the river to the town centre.

Séjour à l'Isle sur la Sorgue

Ce gîte est vraiment très bien placé 10 mn à pied du centre ville. Très calme. Beaucoup de vaisselle. Très propre. Très bon accueil de la propriétaire. Je recommande vivement. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour entte amis.

Excellent villa

A group of 6 shared the villa for 6 weeks as a base for the Rugby World Cup games in southern France. The villa fulfilled all our needs. Clean, tidy, spacious with all the amenities you need. Rooms were great, outside spaces and pool were superb. I agree with all other excellent reviews. Boulangerie down the road and the town is excellent. Corinne and Marie Charlotte were excellent hosts, leaving us to ourselves but very helpful and accommodating when needed. Excellent villa in all ways and thoroughly recommend.

Comfortable home with lovely pool and lots of nice places to visit in the neighborhood

Really enjoyed our stay. We were a bit disappointed about the airconditioning at first because there was just one in the hall and not in each room. The owner made some suggestions and adjustments and then the temperature improved. Plenty of utilities Beds ok, but rather small. Bathroom was clean and a bit out dated. Owners were very friendly and helpful. The town is lovely with its market and lots of things to do in the area
