"Our first trip to Japan. We stayed at Brighton for the full 10 days. The room was large enough and comfortable for three without us feeling like we were on top of one another. Staff was always available and easy to communicate with even though none of us spoke more than three words in Japanese. It was the small things in the room that we enjoyed. The tea and the electric kettle. The glassware provided. Our daughter gave high praise to the quality of the matcha provided with all of the tools...

"The room was thoughtfully designed and the property is beautiful. If you happen to forget any toiletries, there are plenty provided. The owner was very kind and he provided precise recommendations for transit. He also provided us with a map of Kyoto as well as a general guidebook for tourists. I absolutely recommended this location for your next stay in Kyoto. "

"The Koubai suite was wonderful. The outdoor bath is very private and peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the private garden was lovely. This is my favourite room in Japan so far!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Rinn Shiki Juraku. The rooms were clean and very beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The staff was friendly and accommodating, particularly Riku who helped us fix a malfunctioning AC unit in our room. Overall it was an incredibly lovely experience and we would definitely come back."

"This is a self check in/check out so there is no staff or room service. The room itself is amazing and spacious. The bathroom is just as great! The beds were super comfortable! One of my favorite hotels! I will definitely be back. But keep in mind there is no elevator so I got lucky being on the second floor but if you have the third then you have to carry your luggage all the way up there. "
