"One of the best hotels in Arashiyama. Spacious, modern rooms. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Special thanks to Ms Rinka. I lost my wallet while walking between a restaurant and the hotel, and Ms Rinka volunteered to take me to the police station and help me file the police report. Turns out someone had found the wallet and brought it to the police station, so I was able to retrieve my wallet and nothing was lost. "Kenji was a very nice host and his "guest house English" speaking was wonderful!! It is a perfect location if you are looking to wake up early and walk to the bamboo forest, you can be one of the first people there. Kenji also gave us recommendations of places to visit in the area that you otherwise may not have known about. "

"Simply spectacular. A real gem of a place. The attendees are extremely kind and go over and beyond to make the stay feel comfortable. This is a 7 star property with true cultural vibe. The food is fantastic. I’ll be going back for sure. The experience is worth every penny. "
