There is more than enough amenities and it truly felt as if we were at a resort. "This is a lovely hotel with very clean, comfortable rooms, an excellent Italian restaurant and very friendly staff, but despite the name, it is not very close to Kyoto Station by foot. It is located 600-800m away from the station. Additionally, Kyoto Station is not near the main sights in Kyoto such as the Gion - the Gion-Shijo Station on the Keihan Line and Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Line are much closer."

"This was a unique property to stay at for our Japan trip. The property was beautiful and was definitely an experience I recommend. Staff was so helpful when first arriving. They try their best to explain things, especially with a language barrier for myself. The hospitality was exceptional. Would recommend anyone to stay here. A little far of a walk from the main station with luggage so maybe a take a taxi. And have them take you to the check-in area instead of the property itself."

It’s really hard to sleep as well because the bed is hard for my back especially I have a back injury. Location wise, it’s convenient except that the buses are always full and I am on wheelchair.
