"The hotel it's small but super clean and well done. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom huge. The only thing is that is on a quiet neighborhood so it's like 20 minute walk to the canal and Nishiki market but still centric enough. Also, the futon sounds like a good idea until the second night and your hips are dying...just saying. It's not as easy as you think if you are 35 or older..."

"FIVE STARS! This was by far the best hotel in all of our Japan trip. The staff was excellent and super nice! The room was super spacious and the bathroom was huge - we loved the shower. They also had some snacks and water available all the time as compliments and were refilled daily. Location was also great, with Kyotos Gion District for dinning and largest Temples all within a short walk. "

"The rooms and staff are amazing, so I plan on staying here again. The bathtubs with fizzy bubbles are kind of a gimmick, especially if you are used to strong jacuzzi’s. "This is a very special hotel. It’s walking distance to Heian shrine. Lots of good hiking spots near by. The food selection is a little sparse, but there are some good spots near by. The room was very large and we got a view of a cherry tree from our room. Joshua from the staff was very nice and set us up for a great trip."
