"Room was clean and tidy , although it had ,had a make over the workmanship was average .
Broken mixer tap on hot tub which made adjusting water temperature impossible ( no cold water to cool it down). The shower head was well past needing replacement .
Street appeal was mared by a dirty old mattress out front .
Room heating was very good ."

"This has been the best BookaBach stay we've had in many years. A beautiful cottage in the middle of the country. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked-amazing. The art work, done by the hosts told very real stories which resonated with me. If you're wanting a quiet stay, 25 minutes south of Whangarei, make this your No 1 choice."

"Really nice cosy room with everything I needed and on a quiet street with no road noise but still within the cbd.
I was slightly late for check in but the staff had waited for me and were really friendly."
