"We were only here one night, but this hotel was great! From our room, we had a view of the street below and the sea in the distance. Our hotel wasn't necessarily *close* to all the food/shopping or the fort, but it was within a reasonable walk that felt safe to us. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing any information we needed and helping us set up a taxi the next morning. "We stayed at this beautiful space overnight on our way home and felt warmly welcomed. The place is relatively new and well equipped and tucked away in the town. Our host was wonderful and breakfast was delicious and filling. The supermarket is very close and easy to walk to restaurants and pastry shops nearby. Close to several wineries and we visited the Stilianou winery which was lovely(lots of narrow roads to get there though, as per usual rural Crete).

"We stayed at this hotel for about a month for a business/pleasure trip, and we can't say anything but good things about the entire experience. Maria and Dimitris are two angels who run this hotel, and our stay wouldn’t be the same without them. Truly amazing people, professional, friendly, hardworking, and always helpful. We have such wonderful memories and can’t thank them enough for making our stay so easy and pleasant!"

"Den fedeste lejlighed at bo i. 105 m2. De skønneste mennesker.
Dejlig udsigt. Dejligt stille. Fedt at bo med de lokale i en lille landsby. Aliki, ejeren og Olga hendes assistent. De er de sødeste mennesker.
Hvis du ikke er til store hoteller med alt for mange mennesker og all inklusiv , men vil ud i stilheden og bo i spændende bygninger blandt lokale. Så vælg Vasilikata. Der er ca 1 time til Heraklion lufthavn og ca 1 time 20 min igennem de smukke bjerge for at komme til stranden. "

"We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from main areas of the town. "
