  • Los propietarios Mike y Gina Friccero le dan la bienvenida a Awesome Views Vacation Rental: The Mermaid's Lair. Nuestras camas y ropa de cama de primera línea garantizan un buen descanso nocturno rodeado de belleza. Parking privado / entrada, con vistas al mar que son inmejorables. Deck privado con cada habitación. A poca distancia de la ciudad, museos, tiendas y restaurantes. Buena observación para pájaros, leones marinos y ocasionalmente la Orca Orca que navega. Hermosos amaneceres sobre el océano, pero recuerda que esta es la tierra del sol de medianoche. Traiga máscara para dormir si es demasiado sensible a la luz Recomendado para llevar ropa abrigada incluso en verano. La ropa ligera para lluvia es algo bueno para incluir en su paquete.
    Tenga en cuenta: ya no somos un B & B y no ofrecemos servicio de comida.
    Los niños son bienvenidos Nuestra casa está en una franja del parque que ofrece mucho espacio para que los niños corran y jueguen. A poca distancia de la piscina pública, la escuela secundaria y el puente a Near Island. La bañera con patas puede ser difícil de acceder para el baño de personas mayores. We loved our stay. Used the hide-a-bed and it was comfy and easy to set up. Sheets and blankets were easy to access in closet. Spectacular view!! Walking paths close to property.

Loved this cute apartment right on the water! It was the perfect location for being 5 mins from everything… came here for a work trip and it was so nice to enjoy the room all to myself after two chaotic days. This apartment is a downstairs unit, so be aware that you may hear people walking above you at any point in time but overall it was a great experience. I will definitely book again in the future!

Everything was perfect in every possible way. Conveniently located, quiet neighborhood. Spent hours looking out at the sea otters playing in the ocean. And watching the boats go by. This property is good for the soul!

The view was absolutely spectacular from the mermaid lair!! the Hawaiian themed bathroom was probably my favorite thing about this place! small kitchen with no oven or stove top was unexpected but nothing that couldn’t be adjusted to. Would definitely stay here again, location can’t be beat!

Awesome Views! So comfortable, clean, and cozy. The decor was charming, bed very comfortable, and such a lovely quiet place to stay. Will definitely be back!

I love Kodiak! The VRBO I stayed at was so perfect for me. The location was great and it was right on the bay. The balcony was great to sit on and enjoy the beautiful weather and watch the boats going by and the float planes taking off. I would stay here again!

Great spot in Kodiak to rent

Super stay, great view, small but you have everything you need as long as your not planning on cooking. We have rented this property twice in the past two years.

Here for work

Perfect for someone visiting but I prefer a place with a kitchen. Claw tub with shower is not my thing, but it works with a lot of hot water.

It was indeed an awesome view. The hosts are really friendly. It has a separate entrance which is nice. Walking distance to downtown if you don't have a car, but if you do there is a place to park. It is built on a hill in front of the ocean, and requires walking down a flight of stairs each time you come and go. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck just taking in the scenery and sounds.

Awesome Kodiak Studio

Perfect studio set-up. Awesome view of the channel, easy walk into town. Quiet. Nice little deck. "Everything you need and nothing you don't." Would definitely recommend to a friend and plan to re-book on my next trip to Kodiak.

I loved this property and it was a perfect relaxing spot. I slept well and enjoyed the quiet. I highly recommend this place. If you stay here and have some mobility issues this may not be the best option. There are steep stairs and the bathtub has a higher ledge. Otherwise a beautiful location and plenty of places to walk for a great view. Please take advantage of Carol's Cab as well.

Perfect room, great view, comfy bed. It is down a full flight of stairs. A parking space is provided. Also coffee maker in room, microwave and fridge. Nice TV. Lots of closet space. The tub is a claw foot high sided tub. If you are mobility impaired, it could be difficult. I had a great 5 days here at the Mermaid Lair.

Our stay in Kodiak

Terrific place with outstanding view of the water. Close enough to the Downtown area that it was an easy walk. Gina, our host, was easy to access and very helpful. Overall a great experience.

Delightful efficiency with a nice view.

We stayed 7 nights and overall, would rent again. The efficiency is well decorated, clean, comfortable bed with a nice view of the water, watching boats come and go from the balcony. The hot water is shared with the other Suite so there were times we had to wait to shower.
