Aspectos negativos: Limpieza, servicios y instalaciones y estado del alojamiento
Our stay at Ayodhaya was not very pleasant. I will say the location is great as it’s very close to Ao Nang beach, the night market, and a lot of great food. However, the hotel itself is very outdated and not one I would recommend to travellers.
Our room was quite a walk from the concierge and there were no working elevators. So when we had to check in and check out with our luggage, it was very hard to do with so many suitcases.
Our AC was also not working and when we called to have it be fixed, they just asked us to wait a few minutes for it to cool down. They sent an engineer apparently when we were out, however, it did not fix anything.
During the evening, when the lights were on in the hallways, there were a significant amount of moths surrounding it since the hallway is basically a long balcony. It was quite unpleasant and scary to walk through. As well, we saw lizards all day in the halls and even saw some sneak into some rooms. As someone that doesn’t deal well with creatures, this was a very uncomfortable experience.
The handle on our door was also super shaky and felt like it would break every time we locked or unlocked our door.
Overall, the stay was quite dissapointing.
