"Absolutely beautiful place to spend 5 days. Utterly clean, great food, cold drinks, very very cheap, free kayaks and paddle boards, good shower, friendly dogs, interesting wildlife, really friendly staff, loads of interesting places to sit and lay down in the communal area, can walk quite far out into the Indian ocean when the tide is out and it faces west so the view of the sun setting each evening is spectacular. I'll give it a 14 out of 10!!! "

"I can’t recommend Clove Island highly enough. The setting is stunning, right on a super quiet beach and so relaxing and zen. The design of the apartments is gorgeous, so much attention to detail, it felt like a serene beach house. "On arrival we were immediately upgraded to a sea view room. Location and beach are good. Nice room with great view and air conditioning which is a must. All staff were very friendly. The chef is excellent and we really enjoyed our evening meals I would like to add that the manager Kariem is a credit to the running of this hotel. Thanks Kariem and i look forward to meeting up with you in the future. "

"Een top hotel! We hadden een prachtige kamer met zeezicht. Elke dag werd de kamer goed schoongemaakt. Vriendelijk personeel. Het enige puntje is dat het ontbijt wat meer variatie kan gebruiken. Elke ochtend kreeg je hetzelfde menu, eieren met toast/wafel en een stuk fruit. Ook is er rondom de omgeving van het hotel niet veel te beleven en ben je al gauw geneigd om dure excursies te boeken.
