How far is the beach?
The beach is just a few blocks away from the house so it is definitely within walking distance, however, we always recommend driving as you do have to cross one busier street. There are several free parking beach accesses within a 2 minute drive. Also, we provide 2 beach chairs, 1 cooler, and an umbrella so it is a bit easier to take everything to the beach via car!

Is There A Grill?
Unfortunately No. The Outer Banks can often times be windy and each year many people on the beach lose their homes due to grill related house fires. For this reason and safety reasons we do not have a grill at our home. :(

Do you have a tea pot?
Unfortunately No :/ But the Keurig can brew a cup of hot water for you to steep tea in!....

You will have full access to your private apartment.

Nicki and I are available by email, phone, text or the short term rental platform. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We do our best to streamline and make communications as easy as possible to make this trip seamless for you :)

We live next to some amazing neighbors who look out for each others home. It is extremely safe and quiet here. There are only houses on one side of the street making it very quiet and relaxing vs other areas in the Outer Banks.

PLEASE NOTE this is one of three separate apartments on the property all are Airbnbs. We are available if you need us but we really try to just give our guest there own privacy to enjoy there vacation.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, offering both privacy and convenience to local attractions. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. Whether it was relaxing in the cozy jacuzzi tub or enjoying the weather on the couch on the patio, this place truly felt like a home away from home. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be booking here again in the future!

My husband and I stayed in the dojo for a long weekend to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We were very pleased with our stay! The place is very inviting and impeccably clean. The bed was super comfy and the little jacuzzi was perfect way to unwind from our drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the dojo and would definitely stay there again.

This place is the perfect escape for a couple that doesn’t mind going out to eat or picking food up. The unit provides all you need for rest and relaxation, and the tub was a nice bonus. The whole building is two stories, so you may hear people above you, but it’s not horrible in which it would make your stay unpleasant.
