Heart of Duck!! Heated Pool, Hot Tub, Golf Cart

This beautiful and spacious home (over 4200 sq ft) is situated in the heart of the Town of Duck on the Beach Side of Duck Road. It’s an easy 8 min walk to the beach, the Sound, and the quaint downtown with locally owned stores, fantastic restaurants, and the Boardwalk. Enjoy exploring the town, take morning walks for coffee and donuts or treat your family to ice cream from one of the local shops. The ocean and the beach is just a short walk down our very quiet, live oak lined street. We also include use of a Bintelli golf cart to help you get all of your gear to the beach. The outdoor living area and backyard are a true oasis, with its private salt-water and solar-heated pool (April-October) and new optional add-on electic heater available that will keep pool at 85+ degrees. Hot tub, gazebo, grill, and lawn games to play on our spacious enclosed yard, a rare amenity in this area. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, head out on one of the many decks with plenty of seating and porch swings. The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with everything you might need, and has almost two of everything including range ovens, dishwashers, and microwaves. Full size laundry rooms on the first AND second floor. Large game room with a billiard table, video games (PS3), movie library, wet bar with second fridge and ice maker that provides entertainment for all. This is a vacation that your family will remember forever!

Bottom floor (2 bedrooms, 1 full bath): one bedroom with two bunks, one large bedroom with sitting area and attached bathroom (that shares into the game room)

Middle Floor (4 bedrooms, 3 full bath): King Bed with attached bathroom, Queen Bed with attached bathroom, Two full beds and two Queen beds that share a bathroom (jack and jill style)

Top Floor (1 bedroom, 1 full and 1 half bath): King bed with attached bathroom


Items at the house : linens, bath towels, beach toys, 6 beach chairs, beach umbrella and canopy, cooler, hand soap in bathrooms, dish soap, starter dishwasher soap, starter Keurig pods and coffee filters, high chair, pack and play, hair dryers. Toilet tissue (1-2 per bathroom). We have a spice cabinet with most basic spices and oil. We have a corn hole set and a few other yards games.

Please consider bringing: Keurig pods and/or coffee grounds, trash bags, paper towels, septic safe toilet paper, beach towels, HE Detergent for washer, dishwasher pods, personal soap/shampoo.
Sat-Sat rental, 7 night minimum in June, July, August unless approved by owner.
*Please note that the property is equipped with two outside Ring spotlight security system camera devices (one to secure the front driveway area and one to secure the rear pool area of the property).

Què hi ha als voltants

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great property! Everything was as stated/pictured. The house is bigger than the photos make it look. The kitchen was very well stocked and made it easy to make meals for our group. You can walk to the beach, but the golf cart was a huge bonus. You can also walk into town.The pool, yard and hot tub were also very nice. The host was quick to respond to any questions. I would be happy to rent here again.

Great family vacation

As we live up north where it is still snowing, it was great to plan a last min vacation. Robin was great in responding to all my questions. As the ocean is cold this time of year it was great to have a heated pool. The area was wonderful and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the boardwalk. My family had a great week

We booked this for our “framily” get away with about 20 of us. Loved it! We all needed this break and the house did not disappoint. Perfect for a place to stay where you just want to enjoy each other. Enough space for all the adults and kids. We loved going down to the beach and it was an easy walk or quick golf cart trip. We were within walking distance to shops and some restaurants. Plenty of laughs were had by all thanks to the many games at the house. We all loved the pool and hot tub. Pretty much all the bedrooms had a balcony where we loved to congregate in the mornings with our coffee and plan our day. The hosts were amazing just like the house.

Wonderful vacation! Great house! Great host!

A beautiful, bright, spacious, clean home! They had everything we needed from a well equipped kitchen to plenty of beach chairs and a golf cart that helped get us to the beach. So glad we also had such a great pool since we happen to come on the heels of hurricane Eugene and the surf was a bit rough…Truly a life saver for the kids! So happy our family of 18 got to enjoy this time together in such a lovely home! ❤️

Perfect stay in Duck

Our second year at this property. The owners have supplied the home with every kind of need, including all the needs for infants - even so far as to purchasing a second high chair! My favorite

The place was great. Just as described. It was clean. The owners were available and when they weren’t they made sure we had a local number in case we needed anything. The golf made the beach so easy to access. The extra drink fridge in living room was the best. Pool is salt water and was great.

Well needed family time

From the moment we walked into this beautiful home our vacation started. The home was roomy that our large family could all have space but all come together. Whether it was swimming in the beautiful pool or hopping on the golf cart to spend time at the beach or having fun family meals it was perfect. Love the kitchen two of everything made cooking and clean up a breeze. I hated to leave.

Fabulous time at Ducked Out!

This was our first time in Duck and we cant wait to get back. This home was perfect for our family. Lots of room to spread out. The 2 stoves and dishwashers were a plus for our large group. Loved that we could easily walk into town. The golf cart made trips to the beach easy.

Family Vacation

I really loved this property! Everything about it was amazing! Short distance from the beach, via the 'walk-way'! Short distance from town! The pool...the jacuzzi...the golf cart..the beautiful house! It was one of our best vacation spots ever! Love love the Outer Banks, and love love 'Ducked Out'!!

Great home and location

Near perfect location in Duck, very close to town and the beach. (Property is only one lot off Hwy 12, so the front is a little exposed, but the backyard is very private.) Home is very clean, comfortable furniture and VERY well appointed -- many thoughtful touches including charging stations on bedstands, full size beach tents for shade, golf cart, spikeball, beach chairs etc etc. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!
