"Great little place to stay whilst attending a wedding at nearby Lake Henry. The lodge is immaculately clean and finished to a high spec. We received a fab little welcome pack too which meant breakfast on both mornings were sorted for us. It is so quiet and dark which enabled a great nights sleep too"

"The accommodation is a small studio flat which was well furnished and comfortable. Unfortunately, when the windows opened the road noise is too great to leave open and the room very warm so for me, not comfortable due to being too hot and poor quality sleep. "Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. "Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton.
