The space
The Interior
The cottage has been curated to an exceptional standard by the owners’ family—renowned interior designers—blending high-end comfort with authentic character. At its heart is a snug lounge and dining area, featuring a log burner and views across the valley toward the water, perfect for slow, fireside evenings. The well-appointed kitchen, complete with a traditional Rayburn, ensures a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like a true country home.

Rest & Detail
The focus on quality extends to the two upstairs bedrooms, both featuring premium Hypnos beds to ensure a perfect night’s sleep. A spacious shared bathroom serves both rooms, with all linens and towels sourced from luxury brands.

The Grounds
Outside, the cottage opens onto a generous garden and dedicated BBQ area. The highlight is the new cedar wood hot tub, positioned at the garden’s edge. It provides a spectacular vantage point to watch the evening light hit the estuary and the surrounding fields—an incredible spot to unwind on a summer’s night or under a clear winter sky.

The Estuary Life
From your doorstep, you can explore a network of beautiful coastal and country walks. A short stroll leads you to the Millbrook Inn, famous for its summer barbecues and year-round local atmosphere. For those drawn to the water, the public pontoon at South Pool is easily accessible by foot or car, offering a place to moor a boat and explore the estuary directly. For beach days, the sands of East Portlemouth and the ferry to Salcombe are just a short drive around the water.
