"Easy check-in, nice clean and quiet room. Unfortunately, I accidentallydamaged what I thought was the bathroom flush, and contacted Nick straight away. He told me not to worry at all, and explained that he would sort the problem out when he arrived. Fantastic owner, I would imagine that certain other people would take advantage of this and try and request extra payment. I would recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed a relaxing one night stay. We were in room 7 and the bathroom was very small. However we would still return to the hotel. The gardens were superb. We had a drink in the bar and an evening meal plus breakfast. Both dinner and breakfast were very good."

"Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Had a good sized ground floor room with small patio leading on to a garden which is a very family friendly area. If patios were cleaned up e.g. sprayed with Wet and Forget and tables wiped it would make a huge difference because everything else is clean and well cared for. Well situated for walks along the beach and into town. "

"I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. Will definitely stay there again without question."

"Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. "The accommodation is “Airb&b style”, so no service on site. However when I had a problem with access I got immediate attention on the phone. The room was reasonably clean, bedlinen and towels spotless. Shower, hot water etc. working fine, shower gel supplied, kettle available with plenty of tea and coffee. A wee bit shabby outside of the room but I gather they are still working on it. Cleaner/maid friendly. Value for money and I suspect but don’t know for sure that it will improve...
