The restaurant next door offers a 15% discount for staying at the rooms and the firecastle café offers a 10% discount and makes the most delicious pastries! We would definitely stay again!"

"We only stayed here for one evening on our way back from our Irish coast tour. We were surprised that the rooms were in such bad shape, because the reviews were so good. The bathroom was not in good shape, the carpet was falling apart, the water would not get hot, and the water in the shower was backfilling. I was initially furious, so I sent an email to front office. Dean, who was working that evening was incredibly responsive and emphatically apologized for the inconveniences. He provided a...

"This is a great place to get away. The hosts are amazing! Great shops within 20min and a beautiful property. If going far, take a taxi to the train station, taxis are very expensive."

"We stayed in the courtyard rooms. Have to say it was the most comfortable bed we slept in while in Ireland for 2 weeks! The carpet could stand to be replaced, but everything else was updated. It is a very old building, which adds to the charm, but also means water pressure is slow. Great price for a couple nights outside of Dublin. Super convenient to the airport."

We had an issue with vouchers that were purchased for us as a gift. One staff at the golf course was somewhat...aloft...ok, curt but rest of staff and hotel staff were great. I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste."
