"its position could hardly be bettered, on a promontory with views to East, South, and West. We enjoyed the sound of silence, with occasional bleatings from the hillside. We took advantage of many local amenities and sites, shops, restaurants and walks, including the nearby Connemara National Park. All good!"

"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

While there may have been small things that would have improved our stay further we were perfectly comfortable and the location was wonderful, whatever the weather. It was also well situated to explore every corner of Co Mayo, everything being within an hour or so drive "

Grocery store and several restaurants within minute walk. So conveniet. David was a wonderful host and met us to for keys and available if there was anything we needed. "Gorgeous property, stunning views and the pictures really don’t do it justice. Not one but two en-suites - great when you have teenage kids! Mary has thought of everything, there are even comfy chairs by the windows so you can just relax and take in the lovely views. There are fixed tables and benches outside - perfect for watching the sun set with a glass of wine. I can’t remember when I last felt so relaxed.Bedrooms are huge and beds are so comfy. My kids said it was the best sleep they had...

"Fabulous home and location!! Perfect for a large group including all ages. My wife, baby and I stayed in the attached studio, while my parents, mother in law, sister and nephews where in the 4-bedroom 2-bathroom main house. Incredible views no matter the weather, thanks to the full window walls. Electric window shades when we wanted privacy. Walked to the local beach. Drove three minutes to charming Louisburgh. Took 20 minute trips to Westport, Roonah Pier (ferry to Clare Island), Croagh...

Beautiful Clew Bay views from the house, quiet peaceful walks by the sea in the mornings and evenings, and good surfing beaches nearby. Conor & Carol were immediately responsive to all questions and requests. Highly recommend this home for anyone. "

"A quaint, older home that is great for groups and children. The home was very cleanly. It’s close to the city center. You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. Had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again!"

"We were in town to see beautiful Westport and visit family in Mayo and Oakleaf was the perfect spot. Spotlessly clean, comfortable en suite bedrooms, kitchen is well appointed, and host Áine is communicative and available for any questions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
