SOUND FRONT PRIVATE GUEST APARTMENT!

Enjoy sound front views and sunsets over Kitty Hawk Bay! This is a 1 bed 1 bath guest apartment attached to our home with a private entry, private bath, private outside deck and private living space. Newly built in 2017. There is a outside shower available to guests, extra pullout couch, and covered parking underneath our house. Guests have free access to bikes, beach chairs, and kayaks off the dock.

Centrally located on the OBX in Kill Devil Hills. 3 minute drive to free public beach accesses (1 mile), Publix is 1/2 mile away, multiple restaurants within a mile, and this is a wonderful neighborhood for biking. There is a sound front boardwalk to bike down, Wright Brothers Monument is a 5 minute bike away, and many of our favorite restaurants are biking distance from our house.

Avalon Pier, Brewing Station, beach road bars, and Publix all within 2 miles.

Pristine, modern, quiet with a wonderful view of the sound.So many relaxing things in the area; beach, fishing, biking trails; Wright monument, seafood. The dock and private deck were wonderful places to enjoy morning coffee and chill.

Located in great neighborhood tucked away on the sound yet close to KDH main road. Lovely apartment rental w private dock and spectacular sunsets. Upgraded decore, tastefully comfortable and amenities needed included. Great communication w kind renter. Offered use of beach chairs, bikes, kayaks also available. Wld def recommend!

We could not have been happier with Eddie’s place! Fabulous location, super clean, and comfortable space. Eddie was easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Gave us great suggestions of places to go kayaking and biking. We would definitely recommend his place and would stay again in the future!

Sweet peaceful stay on the Sound

Well appointed, clean and comfy apartment with a nice view of sunsets. Just a mile off the main road, its in a nice location but in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the availability of bikes and kayaks. Also the beach chairs and umbrella were so appreciated because it was so hot. A lityle cooler too. I would love to stay here again if I return to the area.

Outer Banks History

As a NC native this was my first trip to the Outer Banks to discover our deep historical American beginnings. Eddie and Ashley were perfect hosts and made us feel like family!! The house and location and their hospitality were all exceptional!!

Bikinig, hiking, kayaking, and beach getaway

We very much appreciated staying in this space with its wonderful view of the sound. Every sunset was beautiful, as was the weather in April. We enjoyed biking on the paved trails, hiking in Nags Head Wood Preserve, and walking on the nearby beach. We also enjoyed using the new two-person kayak which Eddie put into the water for us. It was a wonderful visit and we would enjoy doing it again sometime.

Great getaway for two

The view was amazing! The place was clean and stocked with everything we needed. There was no door on the bedroom which wasn’t an issue for us, but just something to keep in mind depending on who you’re staying with. The host was easily reached and very accommodating. Check in and check out were a breeze. We had a great time!
