Free Off Season Pool Heat! See Details Below!

Kay Dee Haus is a great house in the perfect location in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. Located just a short walk from the beach and restaurants (including one of the few ocean front restaurants in the Outer Banks) the location provides the perfect combination of "being close to it all" as well as the relaxation of a beach vacation. The 1000 sq feet of large decks, open great room (no bedrooms located on the top floor), rec. room and pool area provide many great spaces for your family to relax and enjoy each other's company. This house is pet friendly, so no need to leave your four-legged family members at home. 

2025 FREE pool heat 3/30/25-6/6/25 and 8/30/25-10/10/25.  Available during other weeks for an additional $250 pool heat fee. 2026 FREE pool heat 3/28-6/5 and 8/29-10/9. Pool open from 3/28/26-11/1/26. The pool heat will only work if the air temp is 60 degrees and is only capable of heating the pool to 10 degrees above the ambient air temperature.  

Outside: Parking for 5, basketball, outdoor shower, Private Heated Pool (25x10), Hot Tub (6), covered entry. 

Ground Level: Bedroom w/ 2 Duo Bunk Beds (double on bottom, single on top), full hall bath, Rec. room w/ pool table, full size fridge, laundry, wet bar, large flat screen TV, pool access.

Mid-Level: King Master Bedroom En Suite w/ TV, deck access, King Bedroom w/TV, deck access, 2 additional queen bedrooms w/ TV, 2 full hall baths. 

Top Level: Living Room, w/ flat screen TV, DVD/Blue Ray Player, Stereo, gas fireplace (available off season) w/ card table (seats 4), half bath, dining area (seats 8), large kitchen island (5 bar stools), nice kitchen w/ large pantry. Wide deck space w/ gas grill.

Extras: Private (25'x10') Heated Pool, Private Hot Tub (6), C/AC & Heat, Washer/Dryer, ironing board & iron, 6 flat screen TVs, 1 Blue Ray/DVD, 1 Stereo, Wireless High-Speed Internet, Gas Fireplace (available mid-October to mid-May), Gas Grill, outside shower, basketball. No Smoking. Pets accepted w/$210 plus tax pet fee (2 dogs max). Weekly Rentals - Saturday to Saturday. MP 6.5. Off season mini-rentals may be accepted - please contact us to inquire about dates and pricing. 600 feet to the life guarded 3rd street beach access w/ cross walk on the "beach road". Bed Linens Included and beds made prior to arrival, bath towels can be rented for $7 per set (bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth) 2025 Pool Dates: 3/30/-10/24/25

Wonderful Stay

This is house was wonderful and close to everything. It checked all of our boxes. It was the second time in two months that we used Leslie’s Vacations. They make everything so easy and always respond to any inquires quickly. I highly recommend them and their properties.

Family vacation

Everything was great the only complaint is the pool furniture is very old and uncomfortable. One chair broke but the property manager just told us to set aside. Pool was warm and hot tub was awesome!!

Excellent location and lovely house

We had 11 people and 2 dogs stay at this house for a week. Quick walk to beach, nice pool, excellent views from the decks. Management company communication was very good, would stay here again in the future.

Classic beach house

House was perfect for our family! It reminded me of houses I stayed in with family, growing up. It was perfectly clean, cozy, well stocked. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and playing pool with each other! It is also in a great location. Food lion is right across the road, lots of restaurants also. The beach is a very short walk. I’d definitely book this house again.

Perfect Family Vacation House

The house was exactly as advertised. Perfect location only a block from the beach and close to all the fun Nags Head activities. Being able to bring you dog is a major plus. Would rent again!

2023 Thanksgiving Holiday

Property was perfectly situated for our purpose. It was clean and comfortable. Had all the essentials and check-in couldn't have been easier. (They were able to accommodate an early check-in too.). We got quick responses from the property manager. I would recommend staying here.

Great Place

The house was very nice. Everyone enjoyed staying here. The rooms were clean. We were able to use the pool several times when it warmed up. We liked the layout of the house. The upstairs seating area had two sofas and several chairs which made it very comfortable.

September stay

Family from Maryland, Virginia, and Nebraska were able to stay together in this home for the occasion of my daughter’s wedding at the Sea Ranch Resort. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped, and the pool and hot tub were lovely. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, the living room/kitchen and dining area was spacious and comfortable.

Outstanding house!

This was our first vacation in almost 20 years without all the hassles and drama of extended family. The house was just perfect! It is so greatly located that we never had to drive far to get to anything that we wanted to do. We will definitely book this house again. Mother's Day 2022

My friends and I travel from multiple states to a different destination every year for Mothers day and I have to say we love this home. I say this because the space was awesome, it's everything that the description states!! However the stairs are a bit much having to climb up and down trying to enjoy everyone and every floor of the house. Their are still two things that should be updated about this property. 1: a deep cleaning/purchase of both the carpet and furniture (top floor). Since animals are allowed in this property their was noticeable animal hair around and collecting on our clothing. 2: the pool needs a good cleaning, their was a lot of dirt sitting on the bottom, which the filter was no help. Again I have to say it is a wonderful home with plenty of room/space that we truly enjoyed despite the weather.

Love this place!

I decided to book a trip here end of April to travel down from Baltimore with my small pup and for my Mom to drive from Illinois to meet. It was so nice and a homey place to catch up and RELAX! I hope to stay here again in the future :)
