"This was my family's second time staying at this home and once again our stay was amazing. Martina and Claire are fabulous to work with and very responsive to messages and texts. The home itself has everything- it is spacious, multiple bathrooms and a large kitchen to enjoy! The location is spectacular!! My family loved the ability to walk down to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, ice cream and all the pubs! I have already raved about this home to my friends and cannot wait for our next...

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"Ein wunderbares Haus in ruhiger Umgebung. Mit dem Auto alles gut erreichbar und Inder Nähe. Drei Katzen gehören zum Haus und sind sehr gut erzogen und liebesbedürftig.Die Gastgeber sind sehr gut erreichbar und die Kommunikation ist top."

"Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"This property was spectacular. It was truly a very enjoyable experience. The inside of the gate house was clean very comfortable and felt like home. The interior had been updated since we booked and was amazing. The property surrounding the gate house was picture perfect. The host Finola made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing stay."

"Vielen lieben Dank für zwei wunderschöne, erholsame Wochen für die ganze Familie. In der Brownston Lodge ist wirklich alles da was man braucht. Mit Kuchen und Blumen begrüßt zu werden war noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen, umringt von Schafen und Kühen mit Blick auf den Lough Carra.
