Had to walk from 2nd floor to basement to access pool even though theres pool access on the 2nd floor but is kept locked. No ELEVATORS. "After many years of travelling, we stayed at our first bed & breakfast at No.5 East. Beautiful old mansion with beautiful rooms to stay in. Nice area with restaurants and shopping around the corner. Continental breakfast was great and the Latte’s exceptional. The hosts were amazing and easy to talk to. We will certainly stay again on our next visit to Winnipeg. 5 stars from us"

"Stayed in a newly renovated room. Was quite comfortable, but did hear the adjoining room a fair bit - noise came right through the doors. Otherwise the bed was comfy and the new bathroom was lovely. Best of all was the restaurant. Amazing breakfast! I mean they have a mimosa flight!! "

"The location is perfect in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. Important to know that there is an escalator that takes you underneath the hotel and allows you to access most of the buildings in the downtown area from underneath the street. "

"This hotel was great! Very clean and had a variety to offer for continential breakfast. As someone who is gluten free I asked about food options and was told what was safe for me as well as presented some other options that weren't on display. The water slide and pool are very fun! It was awesome when the hotel was relatively quiet and we had the pool to ourselves. I will say - later in the evening when the pool was busy it was kind of overwhelming.
