"Everything was just perfect. Food outstanding"

"Had two nights in a family room whilst visiting York, which can be easily accessed by car in minutes. The ground-floor room was clean, spacious and very well appointed, with a large TV and a small but perfectly formed bathroom boasting an array of hand-wash, shower gel, shampoo and separate conditioner! Breakfast was excellent, though options for evening dining were limited. That said, we enjoyed a couple of lovely meals at the nearby Cross Keys pub, where it was possible to reserve a table....

Great attention to detail - there was even a supply of cotton buds and a small sewing kit! Really conveniently located to get to York centre, and the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in! "We were in one of the rooms in a converted building at the back of the pub. And it was lovely. Beautifully decorated, comfy bed, lovely shower room. It was delightful. Staff were really helpful, and breakfast was fabulous. We will certainly return."
