Great unit

This is was first time experience to rent an apartment on vacation. We’re were very happy to see the nice fully furnished unit with Hawaiian style bamboo. Very cozy and has a great ocean view. Best thing for us was washer and dryer inside. I hope to book it again soon. Thank you

A week in Maui

Great place. Quiet accommodations just a few steps from the beach. The host is very communicative and answered whatever questions we had super quick. Love the laid back vibe at this beach. No big crowds. Plan your dinner and drinks, though. We found that a lot of the local establishments close early.

Great views and close to everything.

This condo was perfect for our vacation. We could see the ocean right from the balcony and the beach is just across the street. It was very clean and had all the amenities we required. Lots of restaurants and ABC/Whaler stores nearby. Three grocery stores close by but you need a car to get to them. Highly recommend this vacation home.

Gem of a vacation property!

This condo is absolutely perfect! The location can’t be beat. It’s within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and directly across the street from the beach. It is on the top floor and so the view is wonderful, looking out over the water. There is a BBQ area very close to the condo with two gas BBQ as well as a fridge. The pool, while a bit small, is clean with ample seating. The condo includes Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler which we greatly appreciated. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever seen in a rental. Lots of pots, pans, cooking tools, measuring cups and measuring spoons, even an air fryer and a crockpot! The condo is beautiful decorated and perfectly matches the Hawaii vibe. The bed was also comfortable with a mattress topper. There is one free parking spot included as well which we appreciated. The hosts reached out a couple times to make sure we were all settled and had everything we needed. The on site management was super friendly as well. 10/10 for this rental!

Great Place!!

Kihei Akahi is my favorite place to stay on Maui. This particular unit C606 is very nice. Well-equipped and located on the top floor away from the elevator. Would definitely recommend.

Love Kihei Akahi C606!

Clean property, beautiful grounds and pools. Unit has everything you need for the beach; umbrella, chairs, towels, cooler. Unit is toddler friendly with an available pack and play for sleep. And last but certainly not least, the property management company, Romvari Rentals. They were on top of everything. Helpful and friendly! We will be back to Kihei Akahi C606!

Our stay in this condo was wonderful!! It was clean and beautiful and had so many extras that made our stay very comfortable, such as beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas. Great! We’d stay here again!

Loved the location, right on the beach with beach views from the balcony. We chose this place because it was affordable compared to other places around, and had better amenities like a stocked kitchen and beach chairs and umbrellas and a cooler! Loved it!

Good place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was renovated, had a/c, a comfy bed, big bathroom, lanai with ocean views, was centrally located, and reasonably priced. Kitchen was fully stocked and nice condo decor. Also had laundry -- another huge plus. The one issue was the water pressure in the shower. The water never got super hot...warm but never hot. None of the many online reviews mention this. We contacted management the first day and they explained it was beyond their control. The water from the faucets was scalding, however, so this seems to be more of an issue with this specific shower head despite their explanation that water temps are regulated by the complex. Otherwise, would recommend.

Wonderful property! Able to walk to restaurants and shops and bigger grocery stores close by. Beach access right across the street and it was beautiful for swimming and laying in the sun. Easy access so great for all ages. An easy vantage point to explore rest of the island.

Wonderful stay

We had a great time at this property. Fantastic location. The pictures do not do the view justice. We loved eating on the balcony and having a morning coffee there. Great view of the sunset. Minutes to the beach. The bedroom was dark and having a second AC just for the bedroom was great. From the pictures it’s hard to tell how big the fridge is. The two doors visible in the island are part of the fridge. Plenty of room in there, especially with the separate chest freezer beside the other counter. Great kitchen. Everything was spotless and well cleaned. They also had containers and ziploc bags which were helpful too.

A Great Vacation in Maui

We are so glad that we did not postpone our trip to Maui after the tragic Lahaina fire. Not only did we have the same beautiful vacation as we have had in previous years, but we also had an opportunity to volunteer for food distribution and helping at the Maui Humane Society for a few days. All in all, it was a fun and personally fulfilling two weeks. Condo C606 was a great choice, and it is our 6th time renting at Kihei Akahi. We loved the decor of this condo, and the furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with the best selection of cookware, dishes, and glasses. We typically stay at this location for 2 weeks, and this owner was very generous in considering the length of our stay for paper products and detergents. The lanai gave us a nice view of the ocean and only partial sun in the afternoon so we could enjoy it any time of the day or evening. Most appreciated, however, was the communication from the host owner. When we decided to extend this trip (it was 5 am on Maui), the owner got right back to us to confirm. When we couldn't figure out the TV (fancier than the one we have at home), they came right over. They spent time with us and told us incredible stories of resilience after the Lahaina fire. They also gave us some great tips for restaurants and happy hours. We will definitely be returning guests on our next trip.
