Best Unit/Location w/ Ocean View! Fully Renovated End-Unit!


This is a completely renovated (2018) 2-Bedroom END-unit (one enclosed bedroom and one loft bedroom) in Building 2 of the Maui Vista Condominium complex with a beautiful ocean view! Since it's an end unit, there is an extra window in the living room, and the bedroom window is on the side of the building rather than the main walkway (avoiding walkway noise). The loft bathroom and shower are much more comfortable than other units, as they were expanded in size.

There is a King Bed in the bedroom and a Queen Bed in the loft. In addition, a queen-sized pull-out sofa will accommodate additional guests in the living room.

The kitchen is stocked with all of the typical amenities, a new washer & dryer have been installed, and beach chairs/umbrella, boogie boards, and tennis rackets are available for use. In addition, we now have pickleball rackets for our new outlined pickleball courts!

The most amazing crystal-clear water & one of the most beautiful beaches (Charley Young/ Kamaole I) is located right across the street...a 2 minute walk. Turtles hang out at the rocky points on each end of the beach. Shopping and restaurants are in close proximity to both the north and to the south of the complex.

This unit is hard to beat, and is quite possibly the best unit at Maui Vista! Did I say Ocean View?

Pros: nice view, proximity to an excellent beach and restaurants. Good building maintenance and parking. Negatives: Active termite problem in the kitchen, which the owner said was a recurring problem. This biased my opinion, as I wouldn't accept it in my own property and certainly not acceptable in a rental at this price point.

We had a great stay at this condo. Check in and directions were super easy. The condo had everything we needed, including beach chairs and umbrella. We were just across the street from a nice beach with a beautiful view. Speaking of view, we could see the ocean from sitting out on the lanai, where we could enjoy the beautiful island breezes. We didn't really cook, but did bring home some take out and simple groceries, and found everything we needed in the kitchen. It was a blessing to have access to laundry facilities right in the condo. We had our 22-year old son with us, and it was so nice that he had his own space in the loft. Finally, this was a great location for us. We explored basically all of the island, and this was quite a central location for that. Also walkable to some different restaurants and food places. Really, really great stay. I'd recommend to anyone. And you won't need an alarm clock, because there is a rooster that wakes you up every day!

Great location and great views. The air conditioning worked great. The location was walking distance to many local eating spots. A beautiful beach was a 5 minute walk. It is definitely a more local feel than a resort (which we loved).

Pros- The unit had an ocean view from the lanai, and was a very close walk to the beach. There was a good amount of beach gear which was a nice touch. Kitchen had plenty of dishes. There was soap and shampoo and conditioner in the unit. There was a pool, but we didn’t use it. The decor was cute.Cons- It was not listed anywhere in listing that the AC had to be turned off when not in the home or in the bedroom. It was very hot when got there, and every time we came back to the unit. I specifically looked for a place with AC, so this was frustrating. I was told about this close to our vacation date, so I couldn’t cancel and find somewhere else. There were little black bugs that were crawling on me when I was on the couch. I reached out to the owner but could not get a picture (as requested) because the bugs were too fast. I didn’t hear back after that for a couple days. I avoided sitting on the couch the whole time because of that, which made it uncomfortable to watch TV or anything.

Wonderful family girls reunion trip.

The 3 sleeping spaces, 2 bathrooms, great kitchen and lovely balcony made it so pleasant and easy to be together and enjoy our time. Great central location for exploring the island. So close to beautiful sandy beaches for a swim or sunset. Groceries, food trucks and variety of restaurants were also conveniently located and made meals a no fuss breeze. The complex and neighborhood felt safe and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Family friendly lodging’s

We very much enjoyed the condo, it was very nicely furnished and once we “ baby proofed” to avoid damage to the decor we could relax while there. Excellent location near beach and snorkeling all the amenities. Loved it

This was the best family vacation! Two adults and a 9 and 4 year old stayed here. The location to the beach was great, an easy five minute walk. Other beaches were also easily accessible with just a 10-15 minute drive. The house was updated, clean and had what we needed. The pool was also used for nightly swims before bed. When I had questions for the owner, I received an immediate text response back that resolved the issue. Would stay here again!
