This waterfront Shipwatch Villa is located in the West Beach Village at the front of Kiawah Island and features a fantastic ocean view right from a smartly decorated living area. Spread out over the comfortable couch to enjoy some good shows with the large flatscreen TV then take advantage of the full kitchen to whip up a little whimsey for your guests to enjoy over the outdoor deck dining table. While you're out there, be sure to take in the natural surroundings because the ocean, palm trees, and dunes are all within view.

What's nearby:
You'll be within steps of the fantastic Kiawah Island beach where you'll find over 10 miles of shoreline to walk or bike upon. If you're feeling like some local fare, you'll find great restaurants right on the beach such as The Ocean Room, Jasmine Porch At the Sanctuary, and Loggerhead Grill, all less than three miles away. Take the kids out to explore miles of paved bike and nature trails that wind about the island. Downtown Charleston is only 25 miles away, where the family can check out pirate tours, the Gibbes Museum of Art, landscaped gardens, and live concerts. And if you want something a little more local, take a short trip into Freshfields Village (about 2 miles) where you’ll be able to shop for local produce, explore cute boutiques, and lose yourself in the local culture.

Great location and nice property. Very well equipped. Problems were with maintenance with closet doors off the track, broken top rack in dishwasher and missing/broken handles on dresser.I highly recommend the property, but hope the management team would pay attention to maintenance.

Nice property on Kiawah for a getaway. Good view from balcony of the beach. Note for future immediate future travelers. I was there the 2nd week of December 2021, and there's a big construction project on the other end of the building. Lots of noise and work that looks like it will take at least a month. Didn't really bother me but something to keep in mind if that thing concerns you. Great property manager responses.

My husband and I visited Kiawah for a conference. The West Beach Village conference center is conveniently located right across the street so I walked to my conference every morning. It is also just steps away from the beach. The condo itself was clean and modern. Great stay!

As soon as we walked in it smelled like a hamster/rabbit cage. We tried to air it out but the smell never went away. It was so strong. The floor was dirty and some Lysol or room freshener by the door would have made the trip so much better.

We really enjoyed staying at this location. The proximity to the beach, the views, lots of privacy but also lots of windows - was all great! It was fun being at the same height as the tops of the palm trees. Heartily recommend!

We used VRBO to rent our vacation condo. We were charged service fees by Vrbo and several different types of fees by Vacasa. Ended up doubling our rental charges for the place.

this place was awesome! we really enjoyed its location on the island and the updated features. the sunrise was gorgeous from inside the condo itself. we had a great time and I even beat my husband 3 times in a game of Yahtzee that was there! the only thing was we wish the coffee cups were bigger! other than that this place was amazing and we will be back!
