They let us check-in a few hours early. That was nice. There are 4 nice bedrooms and three baths. The space is good, the unit is quite dated. The beds have white sheets and were clean which I appreciated. There were a lot of bugs throughout. Roaches in kitchen and downstairs, sugar ants all over my toiletries in master bath which was crazy to find. They need an exterminator badly. The roaches scurried under the toaster when I turned on the lights in kitchen. They have beach chairs, no umbrellas. There was trash in the chair pockets and water within the chairs that dripped all over us on the way to the beach, which was gross. Close walk to beach. There is no pool usage for these rentals even though many pools exist. Kiawah is naturally beautiful. Overall, an okay stay. The roaches were really upsetting.

Sparkling clean and very close to beach

This unit was very clean, very comfortable beds, and very close to the beach (just a few minutes walk). West Beach location is convenient to Night Heron Park, Freshfields, and off Island activities. Thoughtful amenities included kids' beach toys, baby gate, and pack and play, beach chairs and beach towels.

Family wedding on John’s island

Great location many things to do for family in this area. The townhouse was clean comfy and had all the amenities you needed for a great stay. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Hope to be back

Great stay for families!

The property was perfect for our large party with young kids and infants. It was very clean and it was clear that the owners thought of families with amenities such as kids plates/cups, games, and a baby gate. Being such a short walk to the beach was awesome, too. We will definitely use this property again when we return to Kiawah!

Family Spring Break

The property was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family of five. All the kids had their own room, which they loved! It was a quick walk to the beach and the island resorts were fun to check out. We'd stay again!

Great vacation rental !

Property has all you need for a great family vacation. All very clean, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, beach cart and chairs. Nice living room and entertainment system. Great support from Evolve property rep and interaction with owner also. Was everything as as advertised and nice and close to the beach. Definitely would recommend and return !

Very Disappointing Experience

We stayed at this property for the Kiawah Marathon. When we checked in, we notified to local contact that we could hear a low battery chirp from a smoke detector in a locked closet. We were assured there were no smoke detectors in the closet, and that we could remove the smoke detector batteries from the other units. The local contact was “off island” and maintenance manager was on vacation so they were unable to assist. We notified the local contact again that the sound was coming from the closet. We couldn’t sleep at all that night due to the constant chirping. We did not hear back until the next morning when the local contact informed us that there was an old smoke detector in the closet and that we could use the hidden key to open the door. This information could have easily been communicated the night before, or the local contact could have come to the property to take care of the issue. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a property.

It was wonderful!!

The place was clean, the bedding was luxurious and the kitchen was well stocked. Lots of light. We thoroughly enjoyed the property. I was able to communicate with the owner and the property manager with positive results.

Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Very close to the beach. Added beach items were helpful, esp the Shibumi shade! Great area to bike. We loved the Freshfields retail area! My son enjoyed the fishing! Would definitely rent here again!

Friends Tennis Weekend

We enjoyed the villa - it was perfect for 4 of us - no sharing rooms and no bunk beds! It was perfect - comfortable - the beds especially one guest even wants to know what the mattresses are - so she can get one for home. Very well stocked - even bath products! We enjoyed our stay.
