Homey Retreat in Historic Kennett Square!!

Homey Retreat! A hidden gem tucked away in the bustling historic district of Kennett Square. Walking distance from all shops, restaurants, bars, and entertainment on the main strip. Historic charm and modern upgrades throughout make this a great place to experience and take in the full vibe this great town has to offer. 3 bedrooms, open living room, dining area, fully functioning kitchen, private backyard oasis, with off-street parking.

The space
This is a comfortable row home with electric artwork and decor among many other features:

-THE MAIN FLOOR is an open living/dining room with a 55 inch TV, built-in bookshelf, cozy modern furniture, and dining table.

-THE KITCHEN has is all brand new with a modern backsplash, butcher's block countertops, and stainless steel appliances including a gas oven range with an exhaust hood and built-in dishwasher. Stocked with coffee, tea selection, bottled water, and snacks.

-THE 2ND FLOOR includes 2 bedrooms with a hallway bath. A queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom with a full closet, and a full-sized bed in the second bedroom which has a walk-in closet with a make-up vanity area.

-THE BATHROOM has updated tile and a jacuzzi tub!

-THE 3RD BEDROOM is a converted basement bedroom with a queen-size bed, and TV.

-THE BACKYARD is secluded with high privacy fences and contains a deck that steps down to a flagstone patio with lounging furniture along with a brick patio and pergola with overhanging Edison bulbs and flowering scenery.

- PARKING is available in the front and the back of the house. Private space in the back and free curbside parking in the front.
Guest access
Full access to the house. Please be mindful of neighbors and their property.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
There are two window AC units located on the first floor and main floor.
~AC window units are removed during winter months (November - April)~

HEADS UP: Our home uses traditional radiator heaters. They heat the space well, but they can make occasional clanking or hissing sounds when the hot water circulates. This is completely normal for this type of system - just letting you know in advance so you’re aware!

PLACES TO VISIT:
Longwood Gardens is less than 4 miles away. Beautiful every season of the year!!
Brandywine River Museum offers great exhibits all the time.
Brandywine River trails for hiking enthusiasts.
Many great wineries (Chadds Ford Winery, Galer Estate Vineyard, Penns Woods Winery)
Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library

KENNETT SQUARE - The Mushroom Capital! Offers many amazing restaurants, pubs, cafes with local cuisine.

Fantastic stay in Kennett. House is warm and cozy, owner did a great job shoveling snow to make it clear during a huge snow storm. Love all the coffee, snacks and toiletries provided. Highly recommend!

As a retired architect, I love staying in clean, well designed and comfortable homes. This home was perfect! My only note is for older folks with bad knees, as with most older homes, the stairs might be a bit challenging. We’re averaging 70 and quite healthy, the stairs were fine for us. Thank you Ivanca!

The home was so charming, very walkable to shops, restaurants.

Walked up to shops, the people were very friendly. We were fortunate to be there for the 2nd Thursday of the month when all the restaurants had tables out on the Main Street. Music, good food and fun. We went to Longwood Gardens, beautiful of course.

2nd stay- not the last!

2nd time staying here. I would not stay anywhere else in Kennett Square. The house is so cute, clean and within walking distance of downtown. We were 4 adults attending a U Delaware graduation and it was an easy 25 minute beautiful drive to DE. IVANA is a stellar host. So responsive. We took a red eye fom AZ and arrived at PHL at 6 am. Ivana went out of her way to allow us to check in before noon! That never happens! We will be back!
