The facade is charming and reflects the spirit of Solvang You get a heated pool, and a few other amenities that we enjoyed You get a boxed breakfast delivered to you in the morning. You won't have a microwave so if you're looking for something warm or fresh then you should plan to go to a restaurant Parking is free, as advertised"

"VERY NICE! Great location—everything is just steps away, and you’re right in the heart of downtown Solvang within minutes by foot. The hotel itself is older, but very well maintained and impressively clean. I didn’t find any dust or buildup, even when checking window frames, light fixtures, and vents in my room. The room didn’t have that “old hotel” smell either. It was fresh and well kept. Since it is an older building, the walls are thin. You can hear hallway noise, conversations, cars...

"There was a clean room which I am happy for when I’m away from home. The staff is only available while you check in you do not get to see anybody on your way out so follow all directions given for a successful checkout. I did not appreciate that the pool was not in service while I was there and the Jacuzzi didn’t really heat up too much. Other than this, it’s atleast in the area of Solvang and is comfortable."
