I called about an early check-in an half hour before arrival and the girl on the phone was odd-she wanted me to call her when I got there to check on the availability for early check-in. "Room was fine. The lobby/eating area was messy with food and crumbs everywhere. Biggest problem was all external doors for leaving, or re-entry with a room key, were duct taped open. I removed tape multiple times so there wasn’t free access into the building. Someone kept replacing the tape over the door latch. Meaning there was no security doors working. Anyone could walk into the hotel at anytime without any staff knowing. These doors should be kept functional and work properly. They are there...

"Everything was as hoped"

"The staff are always friendly here- the morning gentleman even let me in early and brought out bagels from the back because my fiancé and I had to hit the road for the airport before breakfast was open- SO kind! Always clean. My fiancé has major allergies and he did just fine, the hardwood floors help with that. I’ve stayed here twice, and this is officially my Destin hotel- I’ll stay here every time I visit."
