"I wish I could have stayed more nights at South Central Guesthouse. This was easily one of the best guesthouses we stayed at during our trip to Iceland. The hosts were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and were always happy to help whenever we needed anything. "Great location on the far side of Thingvellir National Park close to the new Laugarás Lagoon. Freya Farm is truly a family owned farm by a wonderful young family. They were so kind and the property is absolutely stunning. The owner took us for a short hike around their backyard to an amazing river. This is truly a hidden jem."

"We are a family of 3 with a small child traveling. Finding the room upon arrival was difficult, our room was though the kitchen on the other side and there is no one there to help you. The room itself was clean. There is two numbers to be able to contact the staff, neither worked. Staff was unreachable during our 2 night stay. The toilet closest to us needed to be cleaned, the floor in the bathroom was dirty with used tp all over. There was no soap on the hand soap dispenser. The...

"This was our accommodation for the third day of our third trip to Iceland. Everything was exactly as described—if anything, it was even better than expected. We could truly feel how much care and attention the owner had put into creating this place. The view was wonderful, parking was convenient, and the accommodation was warm and comfortable.
