"My wife and I had an excellent one night stay at Skalakot Manor Hotel as part of our 12 day tour of Iceland. The hotel was great, our room was really nice and the spa was fantastic! Staff and breakfast were great too. We did a one hour horse riding tour on the morning we check out which was delightful - would highly recommend it! Daria was our guide and she was great! "

"Its a dairy farm guesthouse. We stay here for two nights. The lady who greeted at us was ver friendly. She tour us around the farm and let us see the baby cows and seeing how they milking the cow. Very lovely experience. "

"My son and I stayed for 3 nights. We loved the communal dining area, the complementary breakfast cereals, milk, tea and coffee were a really nice touch, especially given the remoteness. The kitchen is a good size and really well-stocked for pots/pans/plates etc. The view was stunning. The road to the property is cratered and care needs to be taken. The bathroom could do with a refresh, but everything was clean, tidy and worked. We'd visit again."

"Self check-in instructions were communicated ahead of time and the process was smooth and convenient. The room was clean, bright and airy. The mini fridge in the room was a nice convenience and the WiFi worked well. The view from our room was fabulous! We had a field of lupine and a small pond that hosted several bird species right outside our window. We could also see snow-capped volcanos and the Seljalandsfoss waterfall in the distance. "Lovely and cozy stay. The cabin has everything you need to relax. Enjoyed walking around and seeing the horses and property. There was also a kitty whom was just the sweetest!! A great place to relax and unwind. Please note there are no TV’s in the cabin(GOOD!) and the horses don’t directly come to your door but only 20ft behind an electric fence. If I had but a minor criticism it’s check-in. I felt silly that I walked up to Mr.Iceland’s house but he was out…maybe have a small sign to advise to...
