"This is a property with a breathtaking view of the Ooty huills and valleys. The cottages are good although they now require a fresh coat of paint inside. Food is decent and the breakfast spread is very good and so is the dinner buffet. Hotel staff are helpful and response to the calls is quick. "We (2 adults and 2 kids) had a pleasant stay at Stumpfields. It is 500 meters above Ooty town and within half an hour driving distance. This picturesque place is quiet, serene and well-maintained. Plenty of small and medium sized birds can be seen in and around the property. Breakfast prepared by the staff was very good and homely and the rooms are well maintained. "The Ibex property has one of the best views in all of Coonoor. We visited some of the higher end hotels and found that the views did not compare to that of Ibex. The bungalow is a old heritage style, gorgeous bungalow , the staff is very very sweet and helpful, and it's very worth the price! They even provide a good breakfast, games and books on request, and gave us a little goodbye token which was so warm and loving! "

"This was the most horrible experience i have ever had. First the room i booked and paid for was not given. I was given a small room even though i paid for a big family room. The owner was so rude he said to cancel the booking when i complaint about the room sizes and refused to refund. This whole stay is a scam. The room was dirty and full of SPIDERS and Cockroaches. I would not wish this stay on my worst enemy. Avoid this place, camp in your car but not here"
