Hoteles cerca de Museo de Historia y Folclore de Karuizawa - Karuizawa

"A 5 star experience in a wonderful wooded area of the city. Striking design and great ambience combined with top level amenities, excellent food and friendly staff make the stay at this hotel an experience that I will always remember. Get ready to be spoiled when staying at this hotel! Part of the amenities also includes plenty of parking and a free shuttle service to the train station."

"Since the moment I arrived at the hotel, the service was disorganized and discourteous. I arrived with a private driver and was instructed to remain in the car because there were too many guests checking in. Staff wanted us to wait in the parking area, and I had to request to speak with a manager because my driver needed to leave and I could not simply remain outside waiting. After reaching reception, I asked about the hotel services and was informed that dinner reservations were required....

"Location wise it’s very convenient both to the train station and a 20 mins walk to Old Ginza Street. However the amenities are rather basic and the breakfast is rather like cafeteria food."

"Everything was lovely except for the air conditioning in the cabin was insufficient during the hot days. It was very hot inside and only was it bearable at night as it rained with the windows wide open. The onsen should be included in the price. I found it overall expensive, especially the buffet dinner. Karuizawa overall has too many tourists - the food quality was very high and so were the prices."

"The hotel was in a beautiful spot! Conveniently located close to everything."
