Just finished complete renovation in March, 2025

Welcome to your Hawaiian Acacia tree oasis. Some call it the rain tree. Others call it the Monkeypod or Saman. You will call it home while you enjoy Kauai. Every detail of this remodel was meticulously crafted by hand using actual Monkeypod trees sustainably harvested on the island of Kauai. Live Edge slabs infused with LED lighting greet you in the kitchen. Smaller live edge shelving welcomes you into the Bathroom oasis. Even the bathroom mirror was crafted from Kauai Monkeypod wood! The Monkeypod Acacia is renowned for its dual Golden and dark brown hues and tones. This unit just finished an extensive $100,000 renovation that finished in March, 2025. and is located on the second floor offering a breathtaking view of Wailua Bay. You will find yourself right on the ocean and far from the highway! Sit and relax on your private lanai while watching the waves roll in to Wailua beach. The view is truly spectacular.

Wailua Bay View is centrally located near Kapaa by the famous Wailua River and old Coco Palms resort where Elvis filmed 'Blue Hawaii'. It is only 10 minutes from the airport and is a perfect location to base from when sightseeing on the Garden Isle. The condo is situated directly over beautiful Wailua beach and is only a short walk to Papaloa beach, a protected cove for babies and young children. Lydgate Park is less than a 5 minute drive which boasts the best playground on Kauai. In addition, the County of Kauai built a bike path that borders Wailua Bay View and stretches from Kealia Beach to Lydgate Park, more than 8 miles in length.

The private lanai is complete with railing for extra security. This makes a perfect set up for families either with or without children. Our condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer in the unit. We also offer free wireless high speed internet, cable TV, a king sized bed, a queen sofabed, a single futon and even a pack and play/crib for little ones. Beach gear such as boogie boards and beach chairs are also provided to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We had great communications with our hosts before and throughout the visit. Our hosts sent us great information about what to see on the island and where to tour. It was a gold mine of information. The unit is decorated and supplied with everything you need for a wonderful visit. It was super clean, and all the appliances seemed brand new. We especially loved the beach chairs that we used every day. This is a perfect unit for two adults very comfortable, awesome lanai overlooking the shore and such a short walk to the nearby beach. We really loved this unit and will definitely to stay here when we return to Kawai.

The location is great for exploring the island. There are a few restaurants, a beach that is never crowded, and an easy hop onto the highway.The unit has been very nicely renovated. It is very well equipped for cooking and has good beach equipment to use.

Outstanding location on the island for exploring north or south parts of the island. Condo was perfect for the two of us and freshly remodeled. The best part was walking out on the lanai and watching the beautiful ocean throughout our stay! From the ground level it is 15 steps to the ocean front! Highly recommended!

The condo was incredible. The place had been remodeled recently and was done so very tastefully with a ‘coastal’ theme. The king size bed was extremely comfortable making for a good night sleep after all of the adventures of the day. The owners offered a small cooler, two beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkel gear making beach day so enjoyable. The location is easily accessible to everything, Princeville or Poipu. And finally, owner communication was top notch! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay here again.

The view is amazing and the condo was recently remodeled and was excellent. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and they had all the essentials to enjoy the beach including chairs umbrella snorkeling equipment.

Very nicely updated condo that is close to a supermarket and several good places to eat. Everything was clean, and we had no problems during our stay. Only minor thing worth noting is that the AC is only in the bedroom, so the main living room/kitchen area can get warm, even with the windows open. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a very nice condo and I would recommend staying here. The listing is VERY accurate with what you can expect from your stay (We were cat-fished on Maui) The view from the patio is just what is posted. You can relax, fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves. All new, modern appliance's, cookware and dinnerware. The bed was comfortable and lots of closet space. We made use of the supplied beach chairs, umbrella and beach gear. The location is great, close to the airport and not too far from any other area (Hanalei, Waimea). Shopping at Safeway etc. is less than a mile away. Other users had noted an AC issue but we did not have an problem, we thought the living room stayed comfortable enough for us. The internet / TV were outstanding and easy to use. The grounds are very nice and well maintained. Even though we didn't use the pool it did look very inviting. The only thing I might caution people on with mobility issues is that this is a second floor unit, I'm an old dude in need of a hip replacement and I did just fine. Thanks again

Great place, amazing views! Clean and in a good location to visit various parts of the island. Great remodel. Lydgate park is a 5 min drive and was great for our 2 year old (sectioned off beach, wood playground!). AC in the bedroom made sleep easy. AC is limited to the bedroom, however. Thanks for the stay!

Great location as we didn't want to get a rental car, nicely equipped, it is convenient to restaurants and breweries, a short uber to major stores and airport. This place is 2 minor upgrades from being PERFECT! I did get a little warm in the living room so an AC in the living room and remove the tree (as pretty as it is) it blocks an incredible view from the sofa.

Great place to stay on eastern shore of Kauai!!

Great centralized location in Wailua right on the ocean. Beach next door, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby walking distance. We rented bikes for the week with excellent scenic riding in both directions with the 5 mile bike path nearby.The unit itself is beautifully newly renovated with much of the local monkeypod woodwork personally crafted and installed by the owner, Luke. Luke also pulled through for us giving us an additional night (when there were virtually no rooms available on the island) when we could not fly out due to the tsunami evacuation. Great stay at Luke's place!!

The property,views and newly renovated room were incredible. So peaceful and had everything we needed. We were quite disappointed that there was only a bedroom ac. My husband only asks for one thing when we travel and that is for an ac. The trade winds did not keep the unit cool during the month of July. We found Kauai to be muggier this time which might have been part of the problem. If it were in November or December when the temp is a few degrees lower it most likely would have been perfect. We are not marking it off our list but will for sure keep in mind that it only has bedroom ac.

Amazing view and unit was fully stocked with necessities just stop my any market to stock up on food and your are good. Short drive to a kid safe beach and 15 min walk to food and Restaurants.
