  • Location, location, location! Top level, Oceanfront, Beachfront, 2 Minute walk to Old Town Kapa'a, next to the Kauai's Coastline Bike Path (Ke Ala Hele Makalae ) and A/C! The minute you walk in you will be mesmerized by the sweeping views of the Coconut Coast. As our second home we have made it comfortable w/ Caspar King beds, a super well- equipped kitchen and even beach accessories! This condo is halfway between Poipu and Princeville making travel easy. This is our Paradise. Enjoy!

Awesome view! Excellent location can walk to coffee/smoothies/food. Very well equipped we loved and used boogie boards,beach chairs,towels,cooler even a beach umbrella. My family of 7 was very comfortable with sleeping arrangements. Highly recommend would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

Amazing views! Close to sores and food options. We loved have a nice beach nearby. The grounds are well kept. We wished we had more time to hang out in the pool area and play games. We fed the fish one morning and our family enjoyed that. I would stay here again and would recommend.

We stayed here with our daughter and our grandchildren so there were 8 of us! The kitchen was very well equipped and so we always had plenty of dishes and silverware! Having 3 bedrooms was great with all the beds we needed! Most importantly, we had a FANTASTIC balcony with a view of the ocean, which we utilized daily! Also, our hosts were always quick to respond if we had any questions. Overall, we were very pleased with this property!

Our stay was amazing! The unit was amazing! The location is perfect, centrally located on the east side for getting to activities on either nirth or south sides of the island. When we come again we will definitely try to stay in this unit again!

Unit was clean and check in process was easy. The hosts included a book with great information on how to keep the unit cool, as well as some of their favorite places in the area!

This property met all of my expectations. Location was oceanfront with an awesome view from the lanai. It was steps from the walking trail, easy walking to local markets, restaurants, food trucks and more. The condo was updated and very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were conveniently stocked with necessities. Upstairs loft was perfect for our three grandchildren, ages 8,10 and 12. There was an abundance of water toys, snorkeling gear, beach chairs and umbrellas to use. There were very clear directions on how to run the A/C, TV and other appliances. Also included great suggestions for activities and dining.This was our first family vacation together with our son and his family. It was an unforgettable trip that our grandchildren will always remember.

The host provided excellent communication before and throughout the stay. The home was immaculate, had every amenity imaginable, was comfortable. I'd be hard pressed to say we've had a better VBRO and we've had many! I'd go back to this VRBO without any hesitation.

The best part of this condo is watching the wales play, right from the balcony! The little beach area steps from the home is a perfect place to lounge and play with kids. It’s centrally located with so much right within walking distance. The perfect little paradise! We’ll be back!

Everything was good except maybe a better mattress for the pull out bed in the loft and let people know if they r using the ac that they will not be on the lanai with hot air plowing on them when it runs would have been nice to have a fan out there the hosts were great quick to respond always pleasant had a good stay view was excellent

We couldn't have asked for a better home base for our Kauai getaway, and this Kapa'a condo delivered on every front.The updated furnishings are beautiful — modern, tasteful, and comfortable. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, and there was lots of space for our family of 4 adults.What sets this condo apart is how well-equipped it is, not only in the kitchen, but also an impressive selection of beach gear: cooler, umbrellas, chairs, and everything else you'd need to spend a day on the water.The ocean-side setting is stunning and the coastal walking path was great for morning and evening walks/runs.Location-wise, Kapa'a is hard to beat. We found it easy to reach both the North Shore and the South Shore without feeling like we were spending our vacation in the car. Restaurants and shops, were all within easy reach.Betsy was great to communicate with, and we would absolutely stay here again. We recommend this condo anyone looking to experience Kauai at its best!

We have stayed at Pono Kai a number of times, and this unit was our favorite. Beautiful view, nice fresh interior, ideal location, and easy communication with the owner. Highly recommend.
