"The staff and restaurant at Fosshotel Núpar was great, that being said the rooms were very average and the bathrooms were a bit rusted out. Overall we enjoyed our experience and think this was a great place to stay!"

Quite expensive for what you get
"Rather basic! The building on the photographs turned out to consist of 2 mirrored apartments instead of 1 little house. Walls to adjacent apartment are rather thin….Good beds, fluffy duvets and clean sheets.Very poor lighting - no light on kitchen counter, no bedside lamps, only basic ceiling lights ..."

"Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, quiet, modern, well equipped. The nicest place we stayed in Iceland. Tip: Yes, there is quite a long, unpaved road leading from the main coast road to Stracta. The road is fine, just keep going."
