  • Whether you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life or simply need a base to explore the beautiful Far North we would like to offer you our humble little abode ‘THE BACH’. Relaxed environment overlooking the harbor still awaiting some cosmetic touches however fully functional, self contained with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom and offering sleeping arrangements for up to five people.

    Located centrally with under 30kms to both Kaitaia and Pukenui townships and only a short 4kms from the crystal clear waters and white sands of stunning East Beach, an aquatic playground for all to enjoy.

Super freundliche Gastgeber, wir konnten spontan 2 Tage früher kommen und kurzfristig sogar früher abreisen. Die Lage ist ruhig, die Ausstattung zweckmäßig. Ein überdachter Parkplatz ist hinter dem Haus vorhanden. Die Betten waren leider etwas weich.

Having stayed at quite a few different locations in the far north, this was by far the best! Super friendly host, bach had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Easy access to some of the most stunning beaches in the world. Fishing wasn't bad either!

If only i didn't have to write this review... because The Bach is so awesome, the hosts incredible and communication is The Best... so well appointed as a perfect Kiwi Bach getaway - nothing lacking... if word gets out and this place gets three popularity it deserves (BEST hidden treasure) - it may not be available when we next want to come up. I can't give 100% rating on all things only because 200% and two thumbs up isn't available yet. Top property, top hosts and legendary communication!! THANK YOU

Quiet hilltop getaway

Lovely tidy 2 bedroom cottage with beautiful views. It had all we needed for a very comfortable stay, a quick visit from the lovely owner to check we were all settled and had all we needed, and very comfy beds!

Such a cute little place in a great location!

We loved staying here. The location was great, nice and peaceful with some lovely beaches nearby. Only a short drive away from shops with some easy dinner options. The bach was clean and tidy and the beds were nice and comfy. If we're up this way in the future, we'll definitely stay here again!
