"Our corner room had a great view! However, I was disappointed that we did not have a tub in our room, the pillows were hard, there was no chair or table to sit at. The breakfast buffet was extensive but a lot was Japanese focused and we did not partake. The hotel was nice and staff was excellent, but it was located in not such a great environment for two older adults. I would not stay here again. I would choose to be in Shinjuku or Shibuya. It was expensive for what we got."

"Don’t let the “love hotel” label deter you—J-Mex Hotel in Tokyo is a surprisingly great stay, especially for the value. The location is excellent, with easy access to transit, restaurants, and nightlife. The rooms are also much more spacious than typical Tokyo accommodations, which makes a big difference after a long day of exploring. What really stood out, though, was the cleanliness. "The hotel and washroom space is small but very clean, the staff are helpful and nice. The Wifi is not the best (I wasn't able to use it to transfer my photos from my camera) but we found that to be the case throughout Japan. I’d recommend this hotel. "

"I really enjoyed this boutique hotel. Located in an excellent area just the perfect distance from all the action nightlife and food of the Shinjuku area the hotel itself could use a little bit of polish. However, the room was extremely comfortable. The staff very warm. The happy hour with free flowing wine sake, and whiskey from 5 to 9 PM was really cool. Comfortable sitting areas. They offer a complementary western style cold breakfast buffet. Would highly recommend and will definitely return."

"Room was tiny, did not get the room i reserved. Almost all hotels in Tokyo is tiny rooms especially traveling with 3 or more people the rooms barely has enough room for luggage. "

"It’s a decent place to stay. It’s at the lively Korean shopping area. Many young people are walking around. I love their big tub that I can enjoy soaking in after coming back tired by walking around in Tokyo "
