Hill top view stay- 9 mins from JTNP! Hottub-Game room-Firepit-Cowboy pool

Bring your whole family and pets to your home away from home in the desert. Located right up the street from JT Saloon and only 9 mins from the Joshua Tree Nation Park.
This home is enclosed with a fence around the whole property so you know your pets and small children are safe to roam around. In the front yard you will find a Cowboy Pool, which is big enough for nine people and a hot tub, which fits four people. The back yard has two hammocks perfect for star gazing and an outdoor shower to keep cool. Enjoy the lower part of the backyard keeping warm by the fire. The garage has been transformed into a game room, which has a pool/ping pong table, a 65'' screen tv, a dart board and some game boards. It also has some exercising equipment and a washer and dryer. The side of the house has a gated area, which can be used as a dog run.

You will have access to the whole house.

If you want a place with a fun game room and an awesome separate area with a fire pit, this is the place. The house is well-equipped with everything you need and organized. Restrooms are a bit outdated, but are just as shown in the pictures. I didn't give 5 stars for cleanliness because I am very particular, and the restroom cleanliness and mats were not to my standard.

This was a great place to stay. Great location. Super close to JNP entrance and to town. Very quiet, great star views, clean and had great amenities including the game room which added some fun in the evening. We totally enjoyed the hot tub as well. What a great amenity to have. I am very chemically sensitive and spoke with Kara about the cleaner scents which we remedied. Otherwise all was fantastic.
Added bonus was the view of sunrise as I walked out of the house for JNP in the early morning.

We had such a lovely 2-night stay here! Ample space, equipped with all the basic needs, clean, and with a fun games room for evening entertainment. Close driving proximity to the West entrance of Joshua Tree Park. Thank you!

I truly appreciated the fenced in yard. Communication with the owner was excellent. From my own experience, I understand weeds can get out of control, but they were 3 ft high, so it made lounging in the hammock or in the yard uncomfortable. Personally I do wish there was a bit more privacy created for the hot tub since it’s in the front yard.

The host was wonderful, everything was exactly as promised, and the space was so close to everything we needed to be close to. Great spot for a quiet friends writing get-away like I did, but also set up for the best family trip to Joshua Tree with that awesome game room! Our only note is that the AC in each room was a bit loud at night while trying to sleep, but otherwise it was a great little spot.

Lovely stay! Was equipped with all the necessities and more. Great location as well, 5 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes to the park entrance. Game room was sooooo fun. Host was quick to answer any and all questions!

This is a very nice, clean, and fairly budget- friendly rental. Well appointed with amenities from kitchen to game room to backyard (nice fire pit). Decent neighborhood and great location for activities in Joshua Tree, Pioneertown, and Palm Springs

Great house; perfect for my husband and our two teenage daughters. We spent our mornings hiking at Joshua Tree National Park and our afternoons playing pool and ping pong in the game room or watching movies on one of the two TVs. We were able to easily cook our own meals with the full kitchen and provided cooking utensils. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out when they wanted. The owner was very quick to respond to all my questions.

The game room was a hit!

We stayed for three nights with our 16, 14, and 10 year old kids. The game room was the biggest hit! We enjoyed the hot tub too. It was fun to explore Joshua Tree National Park. I'm already daydreaming about our next trip to the area. I'd definitely stay at this VRBO again!

Great place to stay

We are a family of 6 and the space accommodated us well. The kids loved the game room and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook including lots of spices and a bbq for grilling. There are plenty of linens, blankets and towels. The homeowners were very responsive, immediately addressing any of our needs, including getting a new mattress right away when we said one of them sagged too much to sleep on. They pay attention to the details and little things that make the stay feel more comfortable- like providing hand lotion, q-tips and cotton balls. They provided detergent for the washing machine which was really nice to have, esp with 4 messy kids! Location is just a few minutes away from the town and close enough to the park entrance. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great Amenities and So Close to the Park!

My friends and I all had a great time here. There were so many fun amenities that we are going to have to come back again to utilize them all! Good time in the game room and hot tub, cute place, has everything you need and more. Hosts were very responsive! Will be back!

Game room for the win!

Pros - Great location if your goal is time in the National Park - very close. The various things to do (game room, hot tub, pool, etc.) at the house are very helpful when traveling with kids. Cons - beds were not great. Kitchen could use additional supplies for cooking (more basic seasonings, oils, condiments, etc. Things you don’t want to buy for just a few days but will use). You don’t have control over the temperature setting in the house - the host, however, is VERY responsive and willing to change the settings.

Really nice little house

Stayed here for a few days and it was wonderful. The house was clean, comfortable, and smelled great. The view from the backyard is amazing and the location is great for exploring the area. I brought my jeep so we were able to go off road and see even more remote places. Parking is ample and the fully fenced yard was perfect for my dog. He loved being able to run around after being stuck on the road for 4 days.

Amazing Stay for four family

This was a meticulous property that our entire family enjoyed! The house was extremely clean, with all the creature comforts you can ask for in a home away from home. There was a full game room in the garage with pool table, ping pong, darts and TV. It even has a heater/AC unit so it was always a pleasant temperature in the game room. Fast internet, Disney, Netflix, YouTube on the TV. The location is perfect: close to JT national park, it also overlooks JT’s main strip. One mile, or 10 min walk to the local bars and coffee shops (in the AM). Would highly recommend to other families, or groups of friends. Would stay at again, thank you Kara :)
